Sometimes I'll even go shopping and make one of those "I love you" care packages with Hershey's kisses and Blue Mountain cards and mail it out. Having a "project" to focus on that involves him somehow makes me feel better. I hope you find a way to lift your spirits. Thanks for your kind words. A care package is a FABULOUS idea. Another date, another campaign. I got the number of applicatants on file by clicking on immigration timelines...Then K1. I selected last 6 months option and it tells number of files on VJ...or did I read it wrong??? Or is that number wrong? And if it is...how does THAT affect the numbers??? Ok...I guess we need a committee to make letters, help gather information and make a plan on how to recruit petitioners to send this and call. Also, its not just VSC...we can include ALL centers....this isn't just VSC issues....no one can get ANY information for many reasons. Plus the more....the merrier. I will look for volunteers to help organize this till next wednesday...then we can make a meeting in chat to discuss the details...look for more details to come..I will start a new thread for this tomorrow. I called because i didnt recieve the hard copy of the approval and they told me that they dont have any records about my case and at another time i called, they said that they need the new case# to able to check on my case. no i havent receive pack 3 yet. What is DOS? DOS = Dept. of State. DOS phone number 202 663 1225 ( press 1, 0, 4, 3, 0 ). However, if you don't have your embassy case # they may not be able to assist you. The data is from the VJ.com timelines, and specifically from the reports available on the timelines. The number I have listed to the left of names is simply the sort order based on NOA1 date. Obviously, we have no idea what order VSC will process NOA2s (once they start processing them for us again) but its something to help pass the time. Obviously, we have no idea what order VSC will process NOA2s (once they start processing them for us again) but its something to help pass the time. And the expense is ridiculous. Aos is like $1000 not including EAD and fingerprints, more medical, etc. and ur separated so long u need to visit so airfare's a killer. BTW since u can't get help til 30 days after the six months, isn't it really a 7 month commitment. Of course when u call they'll say 'ok now wait 60 days will get back to you.' You have waited WAY to long. You need someone to locate that file and MAKE SURE it gets worked...dont you stop till one of those officials makes that call and help. We felt we were losing it at the end to...BUT that just means its soooooooooo close. It WILL come....what is hard is not knowing when to expect it. If your files are with an adjudicator its any day..the day you least expect it it will happen... Once Amr asked me why women have more than one baby, if the first one hurts sooooooooo much to have. I said that after the birth, the new mother can only focus on her new little one...and the love she has makes her forget all the pain she endured to bring that baby into this world. He still didnt understand. This morning he said, Faith, this is so odd, so weird. He said...Im so happy that I dont remember the wait. I said THATS CHILDBIRTH!!! LOL. BUT...its deep what he said....we work so hard, sweat it out till we get that approval, agonize over it, cry over it, worry over it. Then when that blessed event of an approval happens...we soon forget the pain of the wait...an d focus on our love and the future. Just like that new mother. So keep in mind, this is like labor...delivery is about to happen...and soon...all will be forgotten....Keep your eyes ahead, not on your feet. You just made me cry. I wrote my congressman and one of his minions underlings assistants said it was with an officer. That was last Thursday, I believe. They also said don't call back until after the new year. He said if I hear nothing by weeks end, to call and they will open a case for me. Find out exactly WHERE in the process my petition is. He is the senator of where? I wonder if I can contact him???? The truth would be to say, 'I am here to see my fiancee' I apologise if I misread what you said. They seem to only turn people away if they have been on lots of visits within a short period of time. If you have enough evidence to prove that you are going home, it's usually ok. But on the other hand, I suppose it depends on who you get on the day. No-one is guaranteed to get in anyway. My fiance came through JFK this summer and the immigration lady knew about his k1 before he even mentioned it. I believe when they cash in ur money, the names get put on the computer. You are right, they do know, that is why you shouldn't lie. You should be casual and say you are visiting friends and family and leave it at that. If you give them reason to believe that you won't be getting on a plane back they could turn you away. My fiance got stopped-believe me. I recommend that he says that he is coming to see you. Not friends. Sorry Steph, but I don't think telling someone to lie is very good advice at all. I didn't say to lie, I said not to mention that he is hear to see friends (meaning his fiance & family), but not to mention anything about a child. I agree that you should not lie.
