IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresError in G-325a but I-130 filled out correctly

Thanks for reply :-)

Well im a bit confused - i had no idea that question in 130 form about employment is actually question about working of foreigner who is currently in the U.S- i thought they ask for present employment in country of residence- we left field "if applicant is currently in the U.S complete follwing , he she arrived as " - we left that field blank as foreigner is not currently in the U.S - well we did not put N/A , we did not know we need to write that- but in next field when they ask for present employer - we wrote foreigner's empoyment is country of residence !

I hope they will figure it is actually employment outside of usa, it did not happen in the U.S .

Hmmmm i really had no idea they would ask for employment in the U.S - anyway same thing is written on G-326a form but there they ask for current employment in country of residence, and we wrote there the right employer ( there is only 1 employer through whole process ) - but we put there different dare of employment than in 130 form , that was worry as i thought what they will think is see 2 different dates for same one employer.

I really hope they will ignore this error that i wrote name of present employer in 130 form instead of putting N/A there as foreigner is not in the U.S currently . Huh.... is it ok to leave field "is foreigner currently in usa " - blank if is not? we somehow did not put anything in there as foreigner is not in the Us at the moment

I also hope this is not too big error

There's only one place to list employment for the foreigner on the I-130.  It does not say "employment in the USA" but the question is only applicable if the foreigner is currently in the USA (see the check box above the question about employment) and working in the USA.  This is not clear from what you see on the form, but I'm telling you the answer should have simply been N/A.  If you filled anything in that spot, they will ignore it entirely because unless the foreigner is currently in the USA on the filing date, the answer is NOT APPLICABLE.  It's a common error that will be ignored.  Don't worry about it.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresError in G-325a but I-130 filled out correctly

Thanks for the answer!! :-) it is better to hear this!

there was not employement date in usa for the applicant/beneficiary/foreigner  - we made error when putting  employment date of beneficiary in g325a form in the foreign country of residence ( we put there wrong year and date - employment was outside of usa , in beneficiary residence ) but in 130 from we put the correct date - which is error as it shows different dates of employment ( outside of usa ) - 130 form says one date and g325a says other date.

Bad but mistake happened somehow in those details....

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresError in G-325a but I-130 filled out correctly

Hello

I m not sure how big error is when it is made in G-325a form with the employment date? When we were filling out I-130 we put the correct date of employment but while filling out G-325a , which goes together with i-130,  we, by mistake, put the wrong employment date on G-325a ( wrong year and month ) - there is only 1 employment date. ....huuuuh......

so there is different employment date for each of both form. ( on the  130 form it is one employment date and on G325a form it is another date) .  what do you think, is it too important error? Can it influence on i-130 form approval ?

We already sent the forms and later saw that error. .....

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresMedical exam date wasnt received in interview appointment letter - how to know when medical is ?

thanks !

This is what writes at section "FAQ" of embassy we use :

"We will send you medical instructions with your appointment notice. Please do not apply for exam until we send you the instructions. Medical exams can only be completed by an approved panel physician "

This is written in FAQ at site of embassy we use, not in interview letter.

So i have no idea if to contact the embassy and ask to appoint it or they will send when it is?

So confused right now

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresMedical exam date wasnt received in interview appointment letter - how to know when medical is ?

We received interview appointement letter, thankfully.

But there is no date about when medical exam happens- it only say " prepare for the medical exam" - and dont say when it takes place and where specifically.

Should we wait for another email about when medical exam is ? or we would need to contact embassy to ask when it is? Hm...im a bit confused on if to wait to be informed when it is ....or it is somehow omitted at interview appointemnt letter.

Thanks :-)
