K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	RFE Question	The I-129F instructions are pretty clear on page 2, about wanting proper documentation on ALL marriages. I would suggest waiting for the RFE, it is an easy fix. Additionally, if nothing else is found deficient by USCIS a quick response and submission by you will likely not result in too much of a delay. There have been limited reports of success with sending in supplemental information after the initial submission. However, those are likely the very lucky and the exceptions to the rule. With an RFE you have specific instructions and an RFE letter to enable USCIS to match up your supplemental information with your file. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	I94	I hope more people report on this on the forums -- I was vaguely aware of it and saw one prior posting, but I'd love to know for reference how it's going to affect other things like getting the SSN and even filing for AOS.  My fiance should be arriving in August or September, so hopefully they'll have worked out the kinks by then! As several have mentioned, it is a relatively new program that CBP has recently initiated. That is generally the limit of the K-2 application process until the embassy/consulate interview phase. At the embassy/consulate interview phase, they will need to have visa application (with associated fees paid)/other documentation/physical exam/etc. Check with the interviewing embassy/consulate as to the specifics on the K-2.    I am pretty sure of the K-1/K-2 process, at least as it was done at the Guangzhou US consulate last year, and suspect it is prettily similar as described in the Department of State Nonimmigrant Visa link I previously provided to you.   I believe that you may be confusing "visa petition" (USCIS) and "visa application" (Dept. of State). Read the link I gave you again, from the section above the section that you previously mentioned:     Does My U.S. Citizen Fiancé(e) Need to File Separate Petitions for My Children? No. Your eligible children may apply for K-2 visas based on the approval of Form I-129F, Petition for Alien Fiancé(e), that your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) filed on your behalf, but your U.S. citizen fiancé(e) must list the children on the petition. Separate visa applications must be submitted for each K-2 visa applicant, and each applicant must pay the K visa application fee. After your marriage, your children will need to file separately from you for adjustment of status. They cannot be included on your application for adjustment of status. More information about adjustment of status is available on USCIS?s website under Green Card (Permanent Residence). Important Notice: Under U.S. immigration law, a child must be unmarried. In most cases, K-2 visa holders must be under the age of 21 in order to adjust status following your marriage to your U.S. citizen spouse. Shortly thereafter, took my wife to the local SSN, with her passport, a certified copy of marriage cert, she applied for a SSN. On the one hand the logistics of getting "fresh" documents in anticipation of the consulate/embassy interview to the beneficiary can be daunting. However, if the documents are deemed "stale" by the Consulate Officer at the interview, that may warrant a delay until fresh documents are provided, or a denial (extreme case). Some of those financial documents can be somewhat time-sensitive. It is a good idea to send any updated documents, i.e., pay tubs, financial documents, etc.    Consider contacting the interviewing embassy for specific guidance.   Good luck.
