Applying for K-1 Visa	Hello,    I apologize in advance, im pretty sure that there have been similar threads- I have look around and read multiple threads concerning the whole K-1 Visa process but im a little bit lost, as of the order of what forms to send first or which forms do i need for my specific situation.    Now i have been reading the Step-by-Step guide to file for a K-1 Visa, but im still unsure or unclear on some of the step. First i know i get a money order and attach it to the I-129F form with a cover letter  an attachment for the question: Part 2 34.a. After that bit is where im confuse. Im unsure as if i just send that and wait for any other documents they ask me to provide or is there anything else i need to include in that initial package? Or is it that i have to send all those forms filled up and the evidence in that initial package? Include all of the forms/documents mentioned in the "Assembling the I-129F Package:Checklist" box of the VJ K-1 Visa Guide.   My confusion comes from the different sources of information i have been reading from, and the USCIS itself that doesn't mention anything else is needed other than the I-129F form. If Anyone could help me clarify would be much welcome. The Form I-129F instructions specifically state what is required. The VJ K-1 Guide gives more specific details.   I also have another question, I'm in the Navy currently on my C school and i am approaching the time for my first duty station. And im sure there will be time i wont be able to respond to some of the mail or calls of USCIS because either i am deployed or other duties. K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedures	K-2 & university admissions	My stepson was able to start his college studies at the local community college within two weeks of his arrival to the US. The first quarter (fall quarter) we paid non-resident tuition. My wife and stepson applied for and received their GCs in November 2012. My stepson received in-state resident status the following February, retroactive to when he received his GC. Become acquainted with and work with the financial aids office at the particular college, they were invaluable in helping navigate through the process.  Check out the link I previously provided for details.   Good luck. Welcome to the forum.   The payment scheme that seems to work for folks similarly situated as yourself, is to send your completed petition packet to a parent or sibling, etc.  stateside, have them insert a personal check for the amount of the fee, drawn on a US bank, into the packet and mail it (return receipt requested/delivery confirmation) on to the Lewisville, TX lockbox. I received my Nov1 by email yesterday and I moved to a new address and I submitted address change by USCIS website. So, is the hard copy will contain alien registration number?
