Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	wow dada.. thats deep..he has always called him his dad hasn't he?? man blended families are hard.. think thats why i stayed married to the ex so long, didn't wanna go thru this.. montego bay in the house my dupes LOL!! Yeah my ex was in my son’s life since he turned three. I never made my son call him dad he started calling him that emself. They were tight as glue. Now granted with the additions to the family he had to share his dad’s attention and as Da got older and started smelling himself they went through there times but I never thought it would get this bad. I told my ex what my son said and he plains on calling him about it. I honestly think he needs to talk to him face to face but it is what it is. I will respect my son’s feelings and not refer to him as his dad but it’s sad. What made me fall in love with my ex was the way he stepped up to the plate with my son. He picked him up from day care for me when I had to work late and dr’s appts because he worked nights so he offered to do it during the day. He was at all his birthday parties and little league games heck he’s the reason why my son played football. I was against it but my ex said no let him play. My ex’s family accepted him as their own I have always loved them for that, there was no difference between mine and my ex mother n laws biological grand kids. My ex always refereed to my son as his son and still does. Some tried to say once my ex got his own kids by me he changed. I don’t think he did. My ex has been getting on my son a lot lately you know he is a teenager and smelling himself and then he is nice to the younger ones but I told my oldest they are younger than you is all. I told my ex he needs to give him positive reassurance sometimes too not always negative. Truthfully ladies I don’t think there is no mending of this relationship. So it goes. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	Anybody on here deal with their ex badmouthing their new hubby to the kids. If so, how did that work for them? And, what did you do to fix it? I know my ex bad mouths my dates to my kids he actually told them they are the reason why we are not together anymore. I wish my kids were grown for a good five minutes so I could tell them the real truth and see what they thought of daddy then. I just tell the kids that is not true and mommy and daddy like each other but we just can’t live together no more is all. No other man has anything to do with this (as I fill out K-1 forms) No I’m joking but that is what I explain to them. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	I do event planning for a living so I had our whole wedding planned in about 2 weeks! LOL. Its an afternoon wedding in Lincoln Park Zoo overlooking the flamingo pond. Then they have a little reception area that is right there too. We will have about 25-30 people there. Hoping some of his family can get visas approved to come over and enjoy the day with us. Fingers crossed. Open bar, lots of food- his friend is DJing for us and playing the sax for the processional (should be nice). Its a great venue because all of the flowers and decorations are already built in. I am just hoping it is not blazing hot at the end of July. But hey, its Chicago- I will be surprised if we reach over 75 Ur an event planner?? Wow we must chat!!!! Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	I think it is a little different. When you come in on a K-1 you can apply for an EAD right away. A lot of people don't because if you file with your AOS, there is no additional cost for that document. If you file them separately its an additional $340. My fiance wanted to get started working as soon as possible rather than waiting almost 2 months for our wedding and then another 3 months or so for the AOS and EAD approval. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	yes..u make PERFECT sense, girl that was a hurdle roger decided not to try and get over a while back, it was the SAME issue.. and i told him we don't greet each other all the time so its gonna be hard to teach them to overnight, but i notice more and more they do talk to me more, when i come in after work its "hey mama", at night its "good night mama" each time roger and i prompt them to say something to him as well and she giggles and says it.. i think she just like to get on his nerves and vice versa LOL..my oldest is getting better, she speaks to us both pretty much all the time.. he doesn't get mad about it anymore though either way.. he hasn't complained in mnths actually, not even yesterday when he ran my youngest down to give her a hug that she still was reluctant to give.. i just thought that since he was leaving to another freakiung country, they should have been more talkative. I like that he chased her for a hug... I so loved it and want to go and see it again! I want them to keep it going...yes I did and I plan to dress up when I go and see it again. I can't really decide which was better the first or this one...I love "SATC" so I guess I'm just going to say I love them both, equally! This is the first time I heard a review about it. But I was also pretty set that I wanted a "real" wedding. We are getting married at the Lincoln Park Zoo here in Chicago. Everything is planned and ready to go. Mexico, Latin & South America	Yardies a home and a farrin - Part 26!	dw, no plans really, gonna reclaim my dancehallqueen crown, thats always the plan when i can make plans LOL try to do something fun with the girls too..since its just us. my youngest has a love/hate relationship w/ roger, she wouldn't say bye to him yesterday or give him a hug, i don't know if she was playing like they always play or what, but it wasn't nice to me.. my oldest is 13, when roger called for her, she was nonchalant, like bye.. .. i was so embarrassed, i know they are just kids and they prolly really could care less that he is gonna be gone and thats okay, but dyam don't act like it..now i know what my mama went thru, cuz i didn't get my social gene till a couple of years ago LOL i have work to do teaching them interpersonal skills That would have teeded me off to its like come on yawl just work with me. You don’t have to do back flips but don’t be rude. I’m so scared when I remarry because my oldest son has already told me he doesn’t wanna see me with no one. He was the lead singer in the band We did the whole distance thing for about 2 years. Then he got his tourist visa and was coming back and forth. Essentially living together for about 10 months. Went home with him to meet his family- on our way back got stopped by immigration (saying he was coming to the states too frequently to be on a tourist visa) and revoked the visa all together. So, the beginning of K-1 process. Now he is back- FINALLY! Just got back a couple weeks ago. Wedding is July 24th. Super excited! So wait you were with him when they took it? Shut up!!! Isn’t a visitor’s visa to visit so what if you come back and fourth? Kissteet well I’m glad you two are together anyway thanks for sharing I think that is so sweet. Another girl on here met her guy through a band!!! So you’ll learn I love hearing about weddings it’s my thing. So tell me your plans for yours. One day I’m going to have my own wedding planning team: Dada- Will Coordinate English- Will take the pics Lady C Will assit English with helping the couple pose. Sus- Will make sure all legal documents are in order. The original plan was to go meet my Aunt and Mom there and pick up Jazz since he was going to go to summer school. With all of our schedules though it won't work out. So now I am driving up there to bring him things he will need for the summer and hang out with them for a day and then will drive back. He will fly from Detroit to NYC next weekend. Then I will be officially kid free. I'm kind of glad for the meet up though because I already miss them a lot. I miss getting all my hugs and kisses from them everyday.
