The school district in my area cut 770 workers yesterday and already 1 female teacher commited suicide. I work at a preschool and I have to pray that they're not doing cuts in that department. As of now the plan is to cut teachers and have teacher assistant play the role of teachers BUT with the same salary, sickening but lets see what happens... Are you serious 770 people?? Holy cow that is a lot of people and then they will have teachers assistants teach?? That makes no sense at all to me. I pray you dodge the bullet! Goodluck on the interviews!! Thanks! Morning Yardies DaDa, I agree with you, there is a lot of support on here, but there is also a lot of judgement as with anything posted on the internet... no one really knows what you are going through in detail from reading a post made in an on-line forum. My honey has been my rock these past months. He is right there in this boat with me, and we're paddling our little hearts out And I say, what God has joined together let no man put asunder. Amen. I have more to share, soon come... work a kill mi... I can’t see the pics but I imagine they are too beautiful. Your story really put a a smile on my face thanks for sharing. Your right I think any where you go there will be good bad and ugly and this board is no different.. I would never say turn to us instead of your sweetie of course he comes first and the fact that you can lean on him for support speaks volumes. Sometimes that is VERY hard to find. Morning ladies, How geeked was i, when i realized my work computer isnt blocking VJ for some reason....SWEET!!! anyway, i gotta ration myself so i can get some work done, but at least its good to have that option. SO far this morning i have only managed to listen to music and twirl around in my chair at my desk cause im still sleepy. Since im not on here regularly anymore im out the loop, BUT congrats to everyone who has recieved interviews, approvals, NOA's, babies, birthdays, new jobs, new moves, just whatever in general, that way im not missing anyone...LOL You did not say you were twirling in your chair. All I cared about when I came here yesterday was that someone I consider a friend was hurting ((Ells)) I have not read or posted in here since December because in truth it's painful and I am not through it yet... maybe when we know the embassy's decision I will come here and spill my guts in the company of those who understand as no one else could. ((VJ)) This board is still serving it's purpose IMHO. No one else could understand the things we have been through. No one else can help those who will be going through it. The back and forth leaves me feeling a little sick Nobody is perfect, each and every one of us has a crack in our #### Thank you to all who wished me well for June... the appointment is only to drop off the waiver package... the processing time from then is 2-4 months... Maybe by August he will be able to hold his first born child... see, now I am crying... this is why I do not post... I'm just trying to keep it together ya'll... To the people I have connected with on here, I thank you, I love you, I could not have made it without you... Bless But Princess I know it may be painful but don’t run from us because you have to remember we are your support system. If your down and out about your SO some of your friends and family might not understand it like we do. A lot of us understand how it is to miss someone so much you ache and hurt. Only yuh VJ sisterns can sympathize with that. Others might look at you like your crazy. Sometimes its hard being on here for me too you know what I went through and every day I have to look at the others girls relationships soar but because I have formed such bonds with them and I’m not an envious person I’m glad its working out for them they give me hope that there are some good men out there. Some days are harder than others because my pain still remains but I work through it. I’m sure you needed a break, granted that, but you stayed away too darn long missy !!!! I knew I was missing someone. I hope that is all. As mi taps mi foot. I’m tired of feeling like the red headed step child (hush JG). Mi supposed ta be yuh first love but yet yuh ALWAYY forget me. Cha !!! But Tonks me praying everything works out. Just an update I’m actually moving my stuff to storage and not the house . My parents are afraid.. What if I don’t get the job then what? My stuff will be down there and I might have to move it back. Then I won’t be down there to keep an eye on it and the house doesn’t have an alarm blah blah blah. I tell you for these folks not to be together that have worn me down to the point I gave in and said o.k. move the ish to storage. I’m still going next week for the interviews though. Look at Dada and I as a classic example - we had our disagreement, others voiced their opinions, but didn't put judgment on either of us - We are over it, are cool with each other (I think, lol) and moved on - That is what the difference in this thread is now - Because there are a few members on here who simply can't do that and can't let it go - they thrive off drama, and continually try to stir it up without really and truly knowing what they are talking about. Whether they do it in public on the forum or in PMs, it's happening - We are all supposed to be grown women, isn't it time to act like it? Some of my favorite pictures. 4 generations of girls. When I was a baby, we had that for a very short time as well. We had five generations until gram passed now it’s just four . I never say what mine will or will not do cause you honestly don't know. I pray that we continue on the right path but come on son, you can't put anything past anyone....coming from a family that has couples being married for 30 plus years...I have heard first hand the pretty and not-so-pretty! I think that is the hard part for me I know no one with a decent marriage. Everyone I know that is married seems so miserable or its crappy. I love when you ladies share the good stuff it gives me hope but I love when you share the bad stuff too cause it might help me further down the road if I’m that situation again.
