Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	German people...rührt euch!!	Hallo,tja nun bin ich auch mal wieder da und natürlich wieder mit ner blöden Frage. Mein Süsser hatte ja leider die letzten paar Monate das Pch nur so für sich reserviert (got laid off and lost everything,apartment,our new car,furniture........lead to serious depression.......BUT he's ok again and finaly starting to get s**** straight) . Wahrscheinlich hat er jetzt auch bald wider einen guten Job allerdings wird er den dann erst sehr kurze Zeit haben wenn wir im November die I 129 einreichen. Brauchen wir deshalb dann nen Co Sponsor? Der neue JOb wird weit über den 125% zahlen,aber er wird den Job dann halt erst sehr kurz (ca 6 wochen) haben.Nen co sponsor hätten wr jetzt sogar aber ich möchte unsere Freunde soweit es geht da raushalten.(Obwohl Stefanie so nett war mir zu sagen das wir die Beiden off the hook lassen können sobald wir das AOS interview haben und mein Mann genug verdient).Brauchen wir für die Petition eigentlich das I 134 oder das I 864?????? Hab mal gehört das das von Embassy zu Embassy verschieden ist......... Na ja und dann wird mein Schatz jetzt wohl auch bald in der National Guard sein.Wenn die nur nicht so lang für seine Medical Records bräuchten!!!!!!!!!!! Sind schon knapp 2 Monate und die lassen sich immer noch Zeit! (Bonus of 9000$-hell we do need it!lol) Naja nun hoffen wr das ich bis Ende Mai endlich ganz bei ihm bin! Aber erst mal gehts am 14.September für 4 Wochen zu ihm!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! Könnens schon gar nimmer erwarten-noch 40 Tage! Ist eines seiner Geburtstagsgeschenke,er hatte bis vorgestern keine Ahnung das wir bald kommen.(Naja er HAT es geahnt wie er sagt) und er freut sich diebisch. Leider schaffen wirs nicht zu seinem Geburtstag am 2 September aber naja dafür hat er uns dann 4 Wochen.Hoffe nur ich krieg nicht WIEDER Stress mit der Immigration so wie im Februar.Reise aber diesmal nicht über Alanta ein sondern über Washington DC Dulles. Drückt uns alle die Daumen das wir 1. keinen Stress mit der Immigration haben,2. die National Guard endlich seine Medical Records von der Army bekommt und wir 3. ENDLICH die Papiere einreichen können !!!!! Wär nett wenn eine von Euch mir die Fragen zum I 134 beantworten könnte!!!!! @ Stefanie wann kommt ihr denn jetzt nach Vielseck????? Aber bei uns geht jetzt erst mal gar nix mehr....Jim's (doch) noch Ehefrau beantwortet jetzt nicht mal mehr seine Anrufe.Möcht gern nach Pulaski um sie zu strangulieren(würde auch das Problem mit der Scheidung lösen,aber ich denk mal es würd uns nix nützen wenn ich dann im Jail sitz lol). Wir wissen immernoch nicht ob der case noch irgendwo on file ist und es nur finalized werden muss.....Dann noch die Wahnsinnspreise für Flüge im September und die Angst das die Immigration mich nicht mal rein lässt.....Hört dieser Stress mal wieder auf??? Aber genau das is es was ich meine,ich komm auf jeden Fall weit über die 1000 Euro mit den Flügen......Hab aber jetzt ne Lösung fürs Problem.Wenn man nicht flüssg is muss man halt da dafür sorgen das mans wird. Werd jetzt nen PC kaufen,auf Raten ,diese schön brav abbezahlen und den PC verkaufen.Dabei mach ich dann zwar nen geringen Verlust aber ich hab gleich Cash. Und die Raten sind mit 60 Euro (wo ich ja eh 200 pro Monat spare) weit aus billiger als ein blöder Kredit der anstatt 12 Monate Laufzeit 24 hat. Gott sei Dank war ich immer brav und hab nie mit meinen Zahlungen geschlampt so hab ich ne super Schufa und kann mir so meinen eigenen "Kredit" machen. Warum muss mein Kerl auch unbedingt am 2.9. Geburtstag haben wo am 4.9. die Flüge billiger werden????? Naja wir werden sehen. Anja-bist Du schon mega aufgeregt?? Hast Du jetzt die DHL Packete schon weg geschickt? Bin zur Zeit echt gestresst aufgrund des neuen Delays durch die Scheidung die nie finalized worden ist. Geht uns beiden auf die Nerven und die Trennung ständig geht uns natürlich auch an die Nieren.Aber da müssen wir wohl durch.Jedenfalls haben wir uns lange und ausführlich unterhalten und uns ausgesprochen. Im Endeffekt hab ich halt mal wieder überreagiert und der arme Jim musste es ertragen....... Er ist halt eher der Typ der negative Gefühle nicht zeigen will (auch um es mir nicht noch schwerer zu machen) und ich bin der Meinung das man(n) ruhig auch mal zusammen heulen kann. Jim blockt halt dann ab und ich komm gleich zu dem Schluss das er womöglich sonstwas macht,wobei er eigentlich in unserer Wohnung drüben hockt und mich und den Kleinen vermisst ohne Ende. Irgendwie muss ich den Mann noch davon überzeugen das das Zeigen von Gefühlen Stärke und nicht Schwäche bedeutet. Jim benimmt sich seltsam seit ich gegangen bin und ich hab den Verdacht das er mich betrügt. Wär nicht das erste mal........... Hauptsache ich hab seinen ganzen Scheiss geregelt als ich drüben war...... Wahrscheinlich hat er jetzt endlich realisiert das er nicht bereit ist eine Famile zu haben,noch dazu mit einem Kind das zwar einen überdurchschnittlichen IQ aber eben auch ADHD hat. Ich versuch jetzt für September einen Flug zu bekommen wo ich entweder in Portland oder aber in Seattle durch die Immigration geh so das mein Jim dort am Airport sein kann und notfalls mit den Officers reden kann sollte wieder was sein. Ob das viel bringen würde ist ne andere Frage aber zumindest würde ich mich besser fühlen.Allerdings sind die Flüge im Moment noch wahnsinns teuer für Herbst...... Naja,weiter hoffen und beten. Langsam stressts uns beide gewaltig. Dachten ja eigentlich das ich diesen Herbst endlich ganz zu ihm rüber kann........ Naja,das Ding ist dann nur das,ich hab mir nämlich auch schon überlegt ne Notlüge los zu lassen,das wenn ich dann in Frankfurt mein Interview hab die mich ja dann darauf ansprechen werden weshalb und wieso in unseren Papieren steht das ich September und Oktober bei ihm war.Wir wollen ja dann im Herbst endlich das I 129 weg schicken und da musst Du ja angeben ob der/die Verlobte derzeitig in den USA ist..... Ich hoffe inständig das ich rein komm nach dem Jim im September und ich im Oktober Geburtstag haben..... Fragen können die Dich übrigens was Sie wollen und leider haben die auch JEDES Recht Dich sofortt zurück zu schicken,selbst dann wenn Du ein Visum HAST. Die Airline mit der Du in die USA kamst,MUSS dich zurück mitnehmen wenn dir die Einreise verweigert wird. So ist halt leider die Rechtslage. Ausserdem steh ich ja jetzt eh im Computer,da der erste Officer einen halben Roman in den Computer getippt hat.Was er gescrieben hat werd ich wohl nie erfahren...... Naja vielleicht ändert sich ja aufgrund des Artikels in der USAToday vom 22.Februar 2006 was. Nachdem jetzt mal bekannt gemacht wurde das die Officers die Touris vertreiben..... Mein Spatz hat sehr dicke Haare,also mach ich ihm immer nen Army Haircut(ausserdem siehts wie Ihr ja auf dem Bild seht einfach süß aus) und das erste was dieser Idiot von einem Officer sagt war:" A little soldier huh?!" Mit einem abfälligen Grinsen..... Und dann ging der Spass erst richtig los: Wen ich besuche,(meinen Freund war die Antwort),wie lang ich Jim kenne,wer der Vater meines Sohnes ist,was ich arbeite,wo ich das Geld für die Flüge her hab,wieviel Geld ich dabei hab,warum Jim die Flüge nicht bezahlt hat,was ich früher gearbeitet habe,wo Jim arbeitet,wie oft ich schon in den USA war,wann zum letzten mal,ob ich denn denke das mir das Geld was ich dabei habe reicht,was ich tue wenn es nicht reicht usw........... Dann hat er die Papiere genommen und sie in einen Folder und sagte ich soll ins Immigration Office zu nen Interview"There's some questions in your case.....!) OK ab ins INS Office, da kam ich dann an Officer Butler,der mir auf die Frage wie lange das Ganze dauert da ich nen Anschlussflug habe mitteilte " You either wanna play hardball and I will put you on the next plane back to Germany or you shut up ,have a seat and wait until I call you!You have no right to be in this country and f I have questions you will answer them or I will simply send you back!" Ich war fertig mit meiner Welt das kann ich Euch sagen. Er hat mir dann noh ein paar Fragen gestellt an die ich mich aber echt nicht mehr erinnern kann und hat unsere Pässe bis Mai abgestempelt. Jetzt hab ich natürlich schiss das ich im September wieder Propbleme hab da ich ja leider wieder ein Tourist Visa brauch weil wir das K1 ja noch nicht einreichen können da der liebe Jim verschwitzt hat das er nie ein Divorce Decree bekommen hat und auf Nachfrage bei seiner eben nicht Ex erfahren hat das die Gute die Papiere nie finalizen ließ............ Also ist der gute Mann noch verheiratet obwohl er glaubte schon seit 1 1/2 Jahren geschieden zu sein...... Folglich muss erst mal der Mist bereinigt sein damit wr überhaupt die I 129 einschicken können.........Also versuch ich mit meinem Sohn im September bis Ende Oktober noch mal rüber zu fliegen. Die Frage ist bloß ob ich nochmal rein komm mit dem VWP. Anja sagte ich soll in unseren Pässen schauen ob irgendwas drin steht,nee steht nix drin. Ausser in Ray's da steht WT auf dem Stempel.Bei mir steht nix. Was denkt ihr,kann ich's riskieren ohne zurück geschickt zu werden??????????Wo hab ich ne gute Immigration?Bis jetzt dachte ich immer Atlanta-ja weit gefehlt. Hi all, I'm expecting the Interview appointment letter either late this week or early next week.And since the Interview will most likely be sometime between April 15th and April 21st (by the statistics) I would like to reschedule the Interview for a later date.(Yes I know I could have waited with sending P3 back but whats going on right now has developed over this past weekend........) Does anyone know whether Frankfurt does that and whether they are nice about it? I fear there's no way I could make it to the Interview this early and have all the papers from him in time. The reson I sent in the Checklist was because I had asked him if he would get the papers ready in time given the estimated waiting period of 3-4 weeks..........Trust me would I have known that my Interview would be THIS quick after returning Packet 3 I would have held on to it...........Unfortunatley James is EXTREMLY bad with papers and his supervisor is really giving him the run around.That guy is lazy and in my eyes has no business being in charge of all them Plane Techs guys working there at the Goodrich hangars.............But hey that's just my personal opinion. Europe & Eurasia (except the UK and Russia)	Missing Documents 4 Interview in Frankfurt	Ok so now I got the Packet 4 from Frankfurt today,which is cool,but whats not cool is that the Interview appointment is in only 10 days!!!!!!!! James didnt send ANY papers to me yet since he's still waiting for the letter from his company which apparently is a real pain to get since he works as a contractor at another Company and the only one from the Company he's hired with that could write up that letter is extremly lazy and hard to get a hold of. We had no earthly idea that the Interview would be THIS quick..........regarding to VJ they give you AT LEAST 3 weeks from receiving Packet 4 to the Interview........... So even if James sends me all the stuff he does have TODAY via express we will still be missing document. Can that Employers Letter be faxed to me?? Also can the Bank stuff be faxed?? Can anything be faxed that doesnt have to be a certified copy??????? I know Divorce Decree,Letter of Intent, I 134,Pay Stubs and Birt Certificate CAN NOT be faxed but what about the other stuff???? FRA Interview in 5 days	Did that yesterday and the new letter is even worse cause now they put his annual Income down as 16786$ which is BS,since on his pay stubs for 10 weeks he has made more than 7800$ in TAXABLE wages already.He's made almost 15 000$ so far this year including the Per Diem and Overtime plus the Bonus. So I will simply take the first letter from them and his Pay Stubs,hoping that will be enough.He IS making that amount of cash and we can prove that with the Pay Stubs and Bank Deposits,so I hope that'll just be enough................ FRA Interview in 5 days	OK so now I got all the papers from my man inclufding bank statements,Pay Stubs and the I 134's..........BUT,the letter from his Company is completley screwed up,we have asked thjem (in writing) for the Emplyoment Verification Letter saying that it has to state when he was employed,whether the position is part or fulltime,his annual Income and so on....WELL,all the sent us was a Letter stating when he was hired ,that he works fulltime and that he makes 8,07 hourly for straight hours and 26$ for overtime hours........... Now his Pay is a bit weird because for the first 40 hours he works he gets 8,07$ an hour PLUS 680$ Per Diem,for hour 40-50 he gets 26$ plus from hour 50 on a 25% Bonus and then again 26$ from hour 50 to 60. They are working 60 hours each week which is mandatory,so all together he has an Income of 78 000$ a year,but it does not state anything like that and the Company will not issue us anything else than what they sent us........... On the Affidavit of Support he wrote down 54 600$ in GROSS Income annually........... I don't know but this smells ike trouble to me. Someone with advice outthere???????????? As I said we HAVE the Paystubs that show how much he's bringing home and the Bank Statements showing how much is being deposited each week from the Company e works for......... Hat irgendeine/einer von Euch Schwierigkeiten mit dem FBI Check gehabt ? Ich will nicht in Details gehen ,aber es geht NICHT um irgendwelche kriminellen Machenschaften sondern um Schulden die ich in Deutschland habe (und sobald ich arbeiten darf abbezahlen werde !!). Mein Fuehrungzeugnis hatte keinerlei Eintraege ,ich hab NIE irgendwas mit der Polizei zu tun gehabt oder aehnliches. Allerdings hat meine Zwillingsschwester einiges abgelassen da sie mit aller Gewalt verhindern wollte das ich mit meinem Sohn in die USA gehe......Haben deshalb sogar ein Expedite von der Konsulin in Frankfurt bekommen...Anyways,hatte NIE Schulden,kein Schufa eintrag oder sonst was bis ich Deutschland verlassen hab. Mach mir echt Sorgen.......Konnte aber auch nicht laenger in Deutschland bleiben weil es meinem Mann und Sohn sehr schlecht ging und die Warterei den beiden gewaltig auf die Psyche ging,... Mexico, Latin & South America	Ayuda proceso Fiance Visa!!	Daniel/Erika It's possible this may be your month. We applied March 18 for I 129 F and got our NOA2 Jul 22 by e-mail. Remember that the estimated time is 6 months but they have been approving after just 4 months. Keep your hopes up This may very well be your month. As well as the interview date.... I think it's great that we don't have to wait for an interview date- that's good because once you receive the packet and gather all the data for the packet, you can go to the interview when you want. Well...you have to make a medical appointment for at least 2 days before. But still, some people have to wait 2-3 months for their interview date. COnsider yourself lucky about that. As of right now, our petition has been in Mexico since Jul 30. We were told that it can take anywhere from 4-8 weeks for us to receive the packet 3. Mexico, Latin & South America	Question!	Hello everybody. I'm normally hangin' out in the K1 thread but I thought maybe this one might have some answers for me. We just recently got approved on the 22nd and I wanted to know if anyone had an estimated idea on how long it will take for Ciudad Juarez to recieve my petition? I'm guesstimating that my fiance will be here in a little over a month... any suggestions on whether this is a possible statement? I got a touch on the 23rd and I was told that it could possibly mean that they are preparing it to send it to NVC, or that it was sent out to NVC... What do you guys think? I realize there is no interview date necessary for Ciudad Juarez, but I would like to know an estimate because, like everyone else, I am impatient and I want my honey home so we can live our lives together. If I didn't have children I wouldn't be in such a panic because there's always the option of moving there but because of my children that would be the worst case scenario! I wish they would just log my bloody packet 3 already and set up the interview date. I have a month or so before I probably get anything so I'm going to have to find my zen and all that Hehe I know how you feel. We sent ours in a few days before you, So we should get it roughly the same time as each other i'd imagine. United Kingdom	Waiting...	Yes they are and they do it because they can. I've called DOS 3 times and only received help once. The first time the agent (or "visa specialist") I spoke to was really helpful; took my case number right away and answered by query immediately and clearly. The second time I called the agent asked why I was calling and then put me on hold for an unexplained reason for 10 minutes (to take more calls maybe?) and then came back to me and asked again why I was calling... took my info and then told me something (after hesitating and sounding like she didn't know what the hell she was talking about) which the next day was proven to be untrue. I called them last week to find out an update on whether my visa had been issued, was again put on hold for an unexplained reason... was then asked again why I was calling... took my info and then told me I hadn't received the visa cos the embassy had put me in additional processing... which wasn't true. I don't mind being told news that I don't want to hear so long as it's told in a professional and decisive manner; but don't sound clueless because then I just conclude you're BSing me. oh dos gives me the run around, they litterally cant tell me anything useful, they cant tell me why my stuff isnt being handled, got told last friday to call the embassy when i said we already did that ( my fiance called and the guy told him they really dont have anything else different then dos) i said well we tried that and they dont have any more info then you guys, she said i doubt that, i wanted to scream. i just dont get how no one can tell us anything, i hate the sitting duck game	Adrian+Mike	Male	England	2010-03-07 22:07:00

United Kingdom	Shipping / Air mailing of possessions	I've recently moved to California (3 weeks ago) and used these guys. https://www.transglobal.org.uk/ I sent 7 medium sized packing boxes which total weight came to over 80 kilos. Cost me around £160. The website lets you put in the dimensions of each box along with the weight and then calculates the cost using a number of carriers. The cheapest that I used was with DHL. DHL came and collected the boxes from my house and delivered them to my new address in California 5 days later. Found the service to be great. Hope this info helps. Ive just sent my second parcel today using these people, using DHL through them. They're very good indeed. Left London on tuesday and were in Seattle over 6000 miles away on thursday, 2 days! I called her and woke her up (she's been working night shifts) and asked her what she was doing at 9am on June 11? She was still groggy from being woken and couldn't quite understand what I was asking her, so I just her interview was June 11 at 9. She paused, then said she'd have to call me back. Then she called super happy! Things are definitely moving fast now. Yay, congratulations!! Just the interview to go now, and your almost there. United Kingdom	Frustration with the Grosvenor Square People	So I called the DOS for my daily dose of disappointment and spoke to a rather rude lady who would just tell me that there's no interview date. I asked if she was marked as eligible and apparently was too lazy to actually check for me. She ended up hanging up on me because she didn't want to answer more questions. Unfortunately, she didn't give me her name. So I called back and got her again. She put me on hold after giving her the case number, I waited...waited...waited, then she hung up. After about 10 minutes, I called back and spoke to a nice lady who gave me her name and seemed upset I was treated that way by the other person. The checklist is now in the system and she's marked eligible for an interview! No date yet, but I finally feel like something is happening! We were going through exactly the same thing when we were checking to see if we were eligible. The majority of the time we got through to someone who really coulden't give a flying monkey about our case, our questions or even feel any compassion about what we were going through. I thought they had already gone up so was expecting to be paying alot more until I saw the receipt. Hopefully we'll just start the AOS just before if/when the fee goes up! United Kingdom	How to deal with the down time	That is exactly the boat I am in. What makes it even worse is that all I can seem to do in the few days before he leaves is cry. Silly and childish as it seems.....it is what it is. Skype is wonderful ( we leave it on 24/7....but it doesn't wrap its arms about you whispering those wonderful words in your ear. It doesn't tickle your ribs and make you laugh uncontrollably. lol same here! I thought we were the only crazy ones that left it on 24/7, even when we're both at work! My bride to be used to do exactly the same thing, as the time approched for me to leave it all became very emotional. Me being the guy of course tried to put on a brave face and reassured her the best I could, however as soon as I got home and spoke to my mother (im a mummys boy lol) I ended up blubbing in the end We watched alot of tv shows together over the internet,legally of course , basically just hitting play at the same time.. sounds madness but it totally helped as it felt, i dunno more of a normal thing, if that makes sense. She told me a story once of one of her mothers friends (i think!) whom were in a simlar situation found the cinema listings with her fiance living abroad and timed it so they saw the film at exactly the same time, keeping in touch over the phone all throughout. United Kingdom	How to deal with the down time	Talking on skype and using webcams every single day pretty much takes the edge off of things. Also knowing that there is light at the end of the very long tunnel really helps. In my final month before I finally fly out there for good ive been working as much as possible to try and make the days shorter.. that and my Xbox It's never easy leaving each other through, even though you know you'll be seeing each other again soon. The first few days for me are tough, but once I get back into the routine of using skype/webcams chatting etc it gets easier. I found that the saying "its always harder for the person left behind" was totally true. I just had to keep thinking to myself that all the emotion that we were/are both going through will make us that so much stronger when the day we get to be together forever comes around. I shipped 2 suitcases totalling around 45kg for 80 quid plus 6 for insurance for DHL Air Express. DHL picked up the suitcases within the specified time frame the day before I flew out and they arrived at my door in Florida the day after. Just unpacked them and everything is in perfect condition. Really great service and VERY cheap, will be using them again for sure! Yep I strongly recommend these guys. Used them 3 times, all to ship personal effects to our apartment here in the US (west coast) and they've arrived the next day. Cheapest around that I could find anyway. United Kingdom	2010 United Kingdom Interview Thread	Well that was a long trip and a busy day... Arrived at the embassy a tad after 8am for my 9am. I was surprised at the amount of people wanting to get in and at the armed cops around the place Took ~30 mins to get through security and then after getting my number from the front desk, it was another 1hr15 before my number came up. 15 mins to check docs, be complained at for having postit notes on the paperwork and paying through the nose the $350 for the Visa Ten mins after that i was called back up again, got 3 questions from a nice Carolina guy, where does she live, when did we get engaged and how long have we known each other. Then he explained he'd already read through my file and he was approving me!!! It was all i could do to walk back into the main area towards the courier desk without a stupid grin on my face All in all, by 10:30, i was out of the door wondering what to do until my train at 2:30. Good job it was a warm sunny day, Grosvenor Place (American Park) right outside the embassy which was beautiful to sit in and look around. Congrats!
