I want to have my medical results mailed to me, Toronto is an hour away and expensive to park and what not and I don't really have the time to be driving there 2 days later to pick up my results. I know I can have them mailed to me but do I need to bring an envelope or anything or do they provide that? If I do, what size, etc? Also, they take cash, correct? Congrats on your NOA2!!! By the K1 Flowchart it says that it can take a few weeks for VSC to send it to NVC and then 1 to 4 weeks from there for your case to be forwarded to Montreal. Canada	woo hoo!	Train for Montreal = booked! Hotel for Montreal = booked for FREE! I used my air miles. We are staying at the Best Western which is pretty darn close to the embassy. Uhaul for moving day = booked! I'm just so thrilled I was able to use up all my air miles and get a free hotel room! WOO HOO! On my way now to get my passport pictures taken for my medical on Monday. Kind of upset that I didn't get my package 4 yet, it will probably arrive on Monday. Oh well. Hope everyone is having a nice weekend!! Canada	Dr. Seiden Review	Well hi Just got back home from my medical in Toronto. My mom and I caught the 5:58am train out of Oakville and got to Union Station in T.O. by 6:35am. Stopped and had a timmy's breakfast sandwich (Man, I'm going to miss those!!! YUM!!!) Then began our short walk to Dr. Seiden's office. We found it quite easily. When you go into 145 Front Street East, his office is just on your left on the main floor. We arrived at 7:03am and the receiptionist was just getting there herself and she opened the glass door to let us in. My mom said "Wow Laura, we are the first ones here!!!" Think again. Turn left into the waiting room and there were like 12 people in there!!! I jokingly said to my mom, "They must have slept here". My mom and I were the only white people in there. Lots of parents with their children. I thought perhaps they were there for something else but no, the xray guy later told me they are all there to immigrate to the U.S. Many of them didn't even have Canadian passports. How did they get here? I'm always curious about that kind of stuff. The receptionist came back into the waiting room and asked for my appointment letter. I handed her my package 3 cover letter and that seemed sufficient. At about 8:00am I really really had to use the bathroom so I did and guess what? They called my name!! LOL I thought I lost my place in line but I didn't. The lady called me into an office (Turn left out of the waiting room and it's just down the hall on your left) She took my passport, my 3 photos and my yellow immunization card. She asked me some information about my address and where I was moving to, etc. You also sign a waiver type thingy showing you approve of this medical and then I paid the $185.00. I also paid the extra $20.00 to have the medical results mailed to me. She paperclipped all of my items to a chart and then handed me a piece of paper with 4 items on it. It's like a check list, almost stations you have to go to: 1)Blood Pressure, Height, Weight 2)Physical Exam 3)Blood Test 4)Xray You don't do them in that order though. She took me out of her room and told me to go down the hall to the right where they would take my xrays. If you are clausterphobic or don't like being close to people, go to another office cause this is one cramped, congested area!! It's tiny, chairs all along the walls and employees walking up and down...it's crazy. The hallway needs to be like 5 feet wider. It was too full so this woman took me back down the hall again and took my blood. She took two viles and marked on my little white check list. Then took me back and I waited for my xray. A very nice man took me into the xray room, you undress from the waist up (take off necklaces, etc and they give you a white paper shirty type thing to wear) and you stand facing a wall, click, x ray done and you get dressed again. He askes you to wait in the hallway for 5 mintues, then comes out and hands you the white check list. 2 down, 2 to go. Then I waited awhile longer, by this time it was almost 9am. I was then directed to a numbered room where I met Dr. Seiden. Very nice man, laid back, relaxed. The nice nurse took my blood pressure, asked me my weight and height, she also got me to sign a piece of paper stating it was okay for them to test for AIDS and then I got to speak with the Dr. We chit chatted casually while he wrote down my vaccination history in my chart. Asked me about Nick, how we met, etc. Then, he quickly (and I mean quickly) asked me questions about my health and medical history. He even was checking off no before I even answered!!! Then he said "Here is the fun part, you get to get undressed" I said "whoo hoo!!!" we both laughed. He told me to undress but leave my underwear on and he said "Don't tell anyone" LOL oops. He listened to my breathing, checked my eyes and throat, my neck, stomach and feet and then the nurse did the breast exam. He left while that was happening and said "Good luck, kid". Nice man. She told me to take the completed checklist to the lady at the front. I got dressed, handed it to the woman and she said they would mail out my medical. That was it, out of there by 9:30am. Pretty painless. It seems kind of disorganized at the beginning. People coming and going, the nurse running around with 10 folders in her hand, "you go here, you go here" LOL but all in all, not bad. We went back to Union station and I had my very first cinnabon, omg so good but sooo fattening!!! LOL Oh and Flames, I'm glad I didn't take your advice to totally cancel and start again, you goober!!! Hope everyone had a great weekend!!!! Canada	It's Sex and the City Day!!!	It was beyond good!! You know when a movie comes out and you get all your hopes up that it will be sooo amazing and you get disappointed? This will NOT disappoint!!! I loved every single second. I laughed so hard and cried just as hard and couldn't stop smiling when it was over. I adored it!! It was like a 2 and 1/2 hour long fabulous episode of SATC with all new stories...I was in heaven and so were all the people in the theater, you could tell!!!
