This all goes back to the black cloud that hovers over Tucho and me. I just called again... They still don't have my papers scanned in. I was approved LAST Thursday. It is now Wednesday. I swear.... This has been Murphy's Law the entire journey...

I'm sure I face AP and a denial and whatever else can happen ....

I would say call over and over again. the Automated message is so back logged just talk to an operator.

But i called my embassy today as NVC said they have forwarded my K3 case already to vancouver consulate on march 3. Vancouver consulate said they sent me packet 3 in the mail on March 5 but its already march 10 unsure.gif so ummm... im getting worried my packet 3 got lost(??????)

Oh yeah. what is this AP I am reading about? does everyone go through it wacko.gif



I do talk to an operator. They all say the same thing. CALL BACK IN 2-4 WEEKS. I could walk the file to NH faster than that.

Just got off the phone with NVC. I had a feeling...YEP we're in AP also. Seems almost unavoidable, but I had prepared myself for it and something told me to expect it after Lisa and Steve got stuck in it. In Costa Rica they have to go to the bank for everything. To pay untilities and phone bills and child support.... OMG I can't tell you the last time I stepped foot in the bank.... Everything I have is direct deposit or automatic bill pay .... I will make suremy husband opens an account at that bank that has branches here and there so he can transfer his child support for free. I'm so cheap like that !!!

I think she means if you get your CR-1 finished, you can't continue with the K3. You have to then continue with CR-1 which means they have to schedule her for a CR-1 if they are not able to swap the interview in time (of her K3 interview date). Right?

Yes Narina, I only had a baby with a tumor so I could eventually marry a foreigner and bring him here. ( I have a crystal ball) I like torture and pain. Check NVC daily. It's awesome because you can call upto midnight. I always called late at night and checked. I got the case number with NVC really fast. Check my timeline. You can see how fast everything went with NVC.

Thank God, I have had exceptionally good luck with my husband getting his stuff done. He is one of those people that is very very very punctual. He will not be even a minute late for anything. So it makes sense that he got everything done quickly. Thank God. I need that in my life. I'm a big procrastinator when it comes to some things. He is getting his vaccination records from his MD today and then once he has those in hand will schedule his medical appointment. He said he would get it done within a week. Inshallah.

Aruba and Jenn - The tickers thing...well some people with nothing better to do sometimes complain when the siggys are too long. I'm guessing someone complained to ewok and he shortened them. It's happened to me in the past...but usually he sends me a PM saying he was changing my siggy. That's weird you got that message about ignorance and greed. unsure.gif

Que - there are a few AP threads...I think there was even a spreadsheet but it was really short. I didn't pay attention to whether or not the AP people got their approvals fast or not...and don't know if they were VSC or CSC. That would be interesting to check out. Maybe later tonight when I'm home I'll look at it. But if you're interested, you can do a search for "administrative processing" and you'll find the spreadsheet.

Everyone - forgive me if I left you out. My brain is mush. I hope that you all have good news for me to read today!

Good thing that wasn't a post last week.... and dont get me wrong.... I am glad they got an approval.... but if they looked around VJ for a while they would know that a post like that isn't very nice considering the long waits people have had to live through.

NVC will not give you a tracking number. My earlier post basically described how you can check if a package from NVC has been sent to your specific consulate. Once NVC sends the case to the consulate, let me know, and I will help you track it, you can determine the package your application is in once you get the date that NVC sent your file to the embassy.
