Most of the immigration offices do treat people like they don't matter. Its just the way they are, and we have to just stay strong. Make another appointment when you can, and get whatever you need taken care of. Good Luck!!!

OK, I went all the way to Philadelphia for my infopass appt. The appt was 3:30. Ok between traffic and detours all throughout the city, I arrived at 3:40. I ran in the building and didn't even put money in the meter. I figured a ticket would be worth it.... Well, I get there and they tell me they are closed at 3:30. I will have to make another appt. Mean and nasty.... Can you say " cry your eyes out?" I went back in my car and sat there and cried. I called my husband. He told me not to worry. Now I need to make another appt. Take more time off from work. and to make the night even more special.... It is really windy here. A power pole went down and we didn't have any electric til about 10 minutes ago. I had to deal with my ex-husband who is a demon from H*LL. I feel totally wiped out. I want to cray5ol.gif
I can't believe immigration turned me away like they did.

I put in a service request yesterday morning and about 3:40 in the afternoon I received the notice of denial for the expedite through e-mail.

UGHHHHHHH I feel disgusting today. My stomach is like queezy or something. I just wanna sleep. Don't know why. I drank unpasteurized cows milk in CR. My husband has a cow that just had a baby a month ago. I asked them not to give it to me but they made my coffee with it.I didn't realize I was drinking it until two days later and two days of feeling gross. I don't know if that is it or something else.

I think an approval will make me feel better !!!

I have been calling NVC regularly to see if they assigned a case number or created a bill for us. Nothing yet. The kids all got their NVC case numbers and bills created though. I can't do anything with them, however, until they send me their copies of their passports and my husband sends their original birth certificates (I only have copies). Then the lawyer can start working on their stuff.

Today I also want to finish my 2008 taxes. cray5ol.gif I need to get a tax id number for everyone. I found the forms to fill out, but you don't send that out until you send your completed tax forms with it. So much paperwork it's crazy!!! I haven't even sent a complete package to my husband or anything. At this rate, I might just wait until I go see him then I can bring everything with me. Since they're originals too, it's better, so they don't get lost in the mail


Yeah.. She actually did that to my husband. I want to show my husband that I am so mad at what she did but I can't. It would just make him feel worst that he already is. Perhaps she is sooo lazy and she wants to kick my husband out of the office. There were just 2 black ladies at the window according to my husband. It's hard, but look on the bright side. You're with California Service Center. You will probably get your approval any day now. Those of us at Vermont waited an eternity. There are several of us that got passed up while others who filed after us have been approved. Unfortunately USCIS has no rhyme or reason with their process. They seem to do things at random!

It's interesting, I had an infopass appointment at the local office trying to see if I could get anywhere and the guy behind the counter told me that California is the slowest office in the nation! wacko.gif He was of no help at all other than telling me to just sit and wait. His standard response was the CSC has 6 months to get the approval done so we can't do anything until after the 6 months.

I hope no one here took offense to my post. I know there are many here who have waited much longer than me. And I am truly happy for everyone that gets their approval. I think it's more hearing the pain in my wife's voice when she is saying "I want to come home" ... or when we realize she may not be coming home for another 6 months.

Also wanted to thank you for your post about being thankful about life & your loved ones being alive. That story really hit me and helps take a different look at things.


Oh no we didn't take offense at all...we were simply trying to show you how we were all in the same boat (hence the boat on my timeline below lol)...dont worry u came to the right place. We understand your pain b/c we are living through it every day that we await for our loved ones to join us. We don't want anyone to feel they can't speak up their mind. So feel free to vent. We just were trying to show you that you were not alone and that they were ppl waiting a lot longer. But u of course have the right to feel depressed and miss your spouse regardless of how long u have been waiting!

And Jen those ppl who did that need to mind their own business. How would they feel if someone ran their lives for them. Ignore the haters for only YOU get to live your own life and you have the right to live it any way you chose how star_smile.gif


Alot of the ppl talking ####### were friends here in the US. His family in CR is very supportive. I love them and they love me. I kind of learned to stay to myself these days. When ppl ask me about him and when he will be here I just say " I don't know" I change the subject and talk about something else. I don't care what ppl think. He and I have talked alot about the haters. We know the truth and that is all that counts.

When I get upset I think about things like that. When my daughter was diagnosed with her cancer, it turned my head around. Nothing matters more than family. You only get one life and you need to live it the best way you can. Be thankful you are alive. Be thankful for every minute you get to spend with people you love. I could have lost my daughter. Once you lose someone, they aren't coming back. People talked alot of SH!T about our age difference but I knew in my heart that what they all said didn't matter. I love him and I want to be with him. The haterz don't matter. I look forward to a happy life with my husband and my kids. You never know how long you have on this earth. What doesn't kill you makes you stronger, RIGHT? I just wish VSC would approve my petition so I can get on with my life.

Well you're approval is coming up any day now. When I started freaking out over not getting an approval and getting passed up, my husband always told me, "It's coming dear. It's very close. We already passed a majority of the waiting time. It has to come soon."

HAPPY VALENTINES DAY !

My husband called me this morning at 8am to say Happy Valentines day. He said he misses me so much and wishes I could be there with him. He told me to fly back tonight. I don't care about stupid gifts. I love when he says he loves me and misses me. He gave me roses when I was there with him last week AND he gave me a ring and a pair of earrings.

I tried to make myself feel better by going shopping. I bought 2 pair of jeans and a pair of khakis for him and a long sleeved shirt and a tee shirt from Hollister. He loves whatever I buy for him.
at this point, I miss him so much, I would fly back to CR tonight if I could.

I was almost sure I would hear something from VSC this past week. All the approvals seem to be from August now.

I received your letter containing the response from USCIS dated 12 February 2009..

The response was a convoluted non-answer to the questions. It took USCIS nearly three weeks to tell me that they are having issues. With the billions of dollars that go to DHS why do they have a computer system that cannot track statistics??

Point of reference: While in the US Air Force at any point in time the Chief of Staff of the Air Force has access, in real-time, to any unit to find out what it's mission capabilities are. My last assignment was with the Defense Logistics Agency (DLA). DLA does over $6 billion a year in support of the military services. Yet, at any time the status of parts, fuel, food, uniforms, etc. are available in real-time.

This has the appearance of a very serious and severe shortfall. Where is the accountability for this? What is being done to correct this problem?

But, I am forced to go back to this very basic question which has still not been answered by USCIS: Why are foreign workers allowed into this country and have their visa applications approved in two months or less? Why are spouses required to wait seven to nine months or possibly longer? What about the L.I.F.E. Act, isn't this in direct conflict?

With unemployment already over seven percent, and climbing towards ten or eleven percent, why aren't the priorities shifted from approving foreign workers to approving spouses. Who is responsible for determining the processing priorities?

Last two questions:

Why, after three months, isn't my I-129F (EAC-09-XXX-XXXXX) viewable on line? When I call USCIS I have been told that "it takes a couple of weeks" to "you do not need to worry about it". THREE MONTHS - Ridiculous and absurd!!

Why are K-3 visa applications in the California Service Center being processed with dates of November 2008 and ones from the Vermont Service Center with dates of August 2008? Why is there such a glaring difference? This data is based on actual Notices being processed and sent; not the three month old data that USCIS proves.

I anxiously await your response to my questions.

Nobody knows what is going on at VSC.
I went for an infopass appt last week. I was late by a few minutes. They were rude and turned me away at the door. They told me " Too bad, we're closed... You'll have to make another appointment"
I am the USC. I only wanted info on my petitions. They couldn't take 5 minutes to look my case up on the computer and tell me why I have been waiting 238 days for an approval?
I am a June Filer. People from late August are getting approvals. Some are from high fraud countries... #######?
