I'd actually like to meet you and learn all your secrets. I can't imagine us, nor just myself, living off just $10,000 per year. Good for you.

Good luck.

There have been others who have been denied initially and then approved on 2nd interview. See what they want/need and go from there.

Keep the faith.

The form.....and without knowing the particulars of how your relationship went, I can't make a response as to what I think is missing.

I would call everyone I could think of till I got some answers.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionCancel K1 Visa
QUOTE (ZeeNusah @ May 11 2008, 02:27 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>
If your petition is at the consulate I would e-mail them to let them know that you want to cancel your petition and I would also send a letter (signed and notarized) to the consulate.

I agree with this. Reason being, I have heard of the visa being approved at the late stage.....if all the paperwork prior was sent in and all that....and of the fiance coming to the US anyhow. If you want it stopped, you really need to make sure proper channels are followed and it is stopped.

Well, she didn't get her pink again, yet she got another fing blue slip. This time saying that we don't have enough proof and need more evidence. She will send me the copy of the 2nd blue slip later today. I don't know what more proof I can possibly provide or who to contact to help us. This is ridiculous. I mean we have hundreds of emails, receipts of phone calls, text messages, pictures, airline tickets for June and September, not to mention that we have known each other for almost 2 years now. SHe mentioned that the consulate sugested that I come there so thyat we have more evidence. I will however know more later.
I am so frustrated at this whole process this does not seem just of fair whatsoever.

1.) You can contact Marc Ellis. This would be my first step.

2.) You can go there as they suggested. This would be my second step.

3.) You could try the marriage route again. Been down that road, but......

4.) You could get her pregnant. Last resort with no guarantee. It would make your case more compelling though. Others have succeeded with this option.
*JG*FemaleJamaica2008-06-02 09:26:00
US Embassy and Consulate Discussionhow do you prove you have never been married?
In Jamaica, you go to the RGD....Register General's office.....same place as birth papers and death certificates.

Him having a child will have nothing to do with getting a visa.

If the child comes to live with him, then yes, she may have to sign something allowing it.

Wow! I come on here to just browse and there is my name!

If I were you, I would try not to move until you receive those packets.

If Maya did not have a job before this or assets she will not be able to sponsor you. You will be forced to get a sponsor.

I suggest she does get that letter from her employer anyhow.

US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionNeeding some help
If it's drugs, you can't really say "oh they switched on me and I never knew". That doesn't fly.

3 year ban. You can try again after that.
*JG*FemaleJamaica2008-07-22 13:01:00
US Embassy and Consulate DiscussionI give up....
Pushbrk has a point and you should heed it. I know you don't want to hear it; but there is a reason why they deny you. That reason will not go away just cause you marry. And, contrary to popular belief, marrying is not the end all proof of relationship.

I've seen many people upset cause that ploy didn't work. Look into the reason for denial and fix it if you can.

Please stop and think really hard. I hope to save you lots of pain in the future by offering this advice.

I do wish you luck that it all turns out for you.

I did count non-courtordered child support. I, too, get extra money from my ex. They did not ask for any kind of child support proof at all.

They will look at your current job. But, your last few tax returns do make a huge difference.

I agree with PB. I would find another sponsor if I were you or you are going to be in trouble. I'm sorry.
