Congratulations for all the approvals today. I have been updating the transfers from VSC on this spreadsheet which was created by Shpat. He also got approved today. I will like if some1 else can also edit this spreadsheet after getting access from Shpaat. So far there have been 47 people from VSC to CSC transferred and 15 been approved. Still 2/3rd more to go. I think VSC has transferred all the cases until the first week of march trying to match 6 months timeline before the next months processing date that come out every 15th except this month.

So they had the petition since the 9th -- that's about 17 days (including weekends). We've both been married before so there was that extra bit to process... both have children... MsZ congratulations, Actually what I heard from one of the people who worked in apst in service center, they like the petition with family because once they done with spouse application than the kids application goes as a formality and they get credit for finishing more than one application in timeline of one application. Although I am K3 filer from CSC but I think all of our cases will be on hold until the backlog of transferred cases from VSC get cleared. Atleast seeing you guys get approved will give us hope of us getting the line shorter.

Consulate needs I-130 docs but won't request from NVC to convert K3 to CR1 interview

welcome to the world of waiting....the USCIS website doesnt tell u much but i would encourage u to check VJ regularly and start collecting the paperwork for ur next steps in advance so when the time comes u have everything ready to go and dont get delayed by a single day...thats what my wife r trying to do...we r completing our 3 months of sending the application in two days so it feels better now that approval can come along any day and we r closer to being together by every passing day...

There have been 3 approvals at CSC for the transferred cases from VSC.

Funny that a week ago we were filling the canadian visitor visa application for my wife so I can drive from Portland to Vancouver BC every weekend to see her. We were anticipating our turn but nothing happened after the people who got approved a month ago who applied around a week ahead of me at CSC. I do hope every one get there approvals fast. The average I-130 approval time fro CSC is around 4 months but lately lot of VJ filers got approved within 2 months. That's a good news.
Hope everyone gets approved soon.

Keeping my mind straight.

I dont wanna jinx it but I have been noticing the approval of people closely and I have seen people getting approved who applied around early July and on Aug 13th there was one approval of someone who sent I130 on July 18th!!!

Although recently USCIS have routed some petitions from VSC to CSC at the beginning of August and I dont know how much would that affect for CSC filers now. I just cant wait to get approved.

I need help.... my interview is on Oct 3

The forms not needed you might also want to bring those just in case. They sometimes misplace those documents and ask the beneficiary for the document. Just to be on the safe side you might want to bring them. Definately bring all the original photos and flight info because they usually ask for them. Your husband's tax info is also a plus but he might of already submitted that to NVC and the copies will do fine. If you send your husband the police record with the DS-230 package then that is the original and that it is with the embassy. If you took a photocopy of the police record bring that just in case but most likely the embassy is going to have the original. You look like you are ready. Remember to relax and just be yourself. Make sure you eat your breakfast because they will make you wait a very long time before you are interviewed. I wish you the best on your interview. You will be ok.

ok I'm little confused. I864A is a form for sponsor? does the sponsor has to be a relative? Because I was planning to use a sponsor that is not related to my wife's family but he is a good friend of mine.

I-864A is a household member form not the sponsor. The sponsor does not need to be a relative. The sponsor fills out the I-864 form. Household member has to be someone who shares the same address as the petitioner. Most of the time the household member is a relative such as a father, mother, or siblings. I hope that helps. IDs will be a good example. When I submitted the I-864 and the household member (I-864A), I only send them our birth certificates showing that we are related. Plus, the tax info will show their same address. Definately send all documents with barcode sheets because you never know with embassies. If you did not get the barcode sheet, you could always use james shortcuts to create one here on VJ. Good luck and I hope that helps.

I called NVC and they told me to wait upto 2-4 weeks for the letter. My husband's interview is 10/9/2008 and that is going to be late. She told me that it was sent out on monday, I will check tomorrow. Hopefully by next week at the latest. Good luck to you.

I am in AP and apparently our case is completed at NVC and going back to Consulate in Morocco

When you are done with sending all the required documents and processing at the NVC that is when NVC completes the case. This happens before interview dates are assigned and before the case is sent to the foreign embassy but doesn't mean it was on AP. If you are in AP and you have been at the interview and now it is on its way back to the consulate that means that they are going to give you the results soon. You should definately call the consulate in Morrocco to verify if they have received your case. Good luck
