Will this affect our CR1 petition since my father in law will be our co sponsor .

My husband is asking me if there will be a problem in USCIS, NVC and US EMBASSY since his father has already petitioned his 2 brothers (35 and 40 yrs old which is in USA now..).


As what he knows, his father are still liable(financially) to his 2 brothers and if we are going to make him as our co sponsor, is there any effect from this?

I told my husband, since he is my petitioner and not his father i think theres no need to worry..

Can anyone give me some idea or anything about this?

it still depend on status of your papers.. Even if you talk to the operator as soft as you can... its not them who approve the papers. they are just the one who will check the status online and they will give the information to those who will call them...

Hello everyone, is it ok if my husband will be visiting again here in the Philippines even though we're already waiting for our NOA2?

We don't know when will our papers be approved (NOA2), so while waiting we want to see each other again - its our first Wedding Anniversary on Feb 14, 2009 but were planning to meet again on April or May. It will be only 2 -3 weeks....

Hi, my name is Israel and I am asking about a certain issue. It's concerning my petition on the CR1 NOA2. I am wondering if having fines from at least 4 years will affect and cause a delay in the NOA2. I got a speeding ticket back in 2003 and just recently paid it for $108.00. I also got two fishing violations that cost both $175.00 in 2003. I don't have any major conviction in my adult years and in my earlier years as a teenager I got some petty crimes like Minor In Possession of Alcohol, Simple Assaults, a hit and run at 16, residential burglary at 13. All of these things are taken care of and my life is totally turned around. Now I am a minister of the gospel. Is any of this going to affect my petition and the NOA2 being delayed? Will having a debt in Child Support delay the NOA2? I am paying on it quickly. Due fines like speeding tickets delay the NOA2?

so, not only am i losing weight cuz i can't eat.. i now how to diet because my body can't produce enough insulin... ENOUGH! wacko.gif

when i'm feeling a lot better, im going to update our tracker.. im sure alot has happened.

Well for obvious reasons, I can't say that I know how you feel!!!

But my wife also was going through the same thing. She was vomiting all of the time, she could not keep anything down. And when we were apart, it was very difficult on her. Now she is 5 months. She still needs to eat something about every two hours or she feels like she needs to vomit. And when we go anywhere in the car, we always have a plastic bag with us just in case.

But soon you guys will be together and things will get better.

I would think that you will get a November interview. You should be complete at NVC soon.

I don't remember if there is a automated response of receiving the e-mail. But it should be approved in about 10 days. But you should have received an e-mail confirmation of them receiving your e-mail.

And I would just keep calling in the evening and asking for the IIN. They always say there is a problem with the system, but that is not true.

KAHM, I would call the NVC and ask for the interview date. Because they only do scheduling the first couple weeks of the month. So it is about finished for September and if you do not get one soon, you will have to wait until October for a November interview. I have heard of people calling and getting their interview date set up.

You do not need the hard copy. You can just send the e-mail. Then you do not need to make any barcodes.

We received the hard copy about a week after our Choice of Agent was accepted. It took about 10 days for them to accept our Choice of agent.

Jen, you should hear case complete any day now. Just call them every day to find out. And you will continue to receive things in thew mail, eventhough you have taken care of them on-line.

Rajaa, keep trying to get the IIN number. When they invoice the AOS, then you can send in the Choice of Agent.

Because we just had her interview, which was originally supposed to be a K3 interview. But our papers got to the embassy before the interview so it was changed to a CR1. Her CR1 interview was originally scheduled for September 23rd.

Rajaa, I would just go ahead and do the e-mail. Unless things have changed, you do not have a need for things to be done super fast anyways. But yes, I know you just want to be through the NVC.

Rajaa, it depends. If you just ignore the K3 and pursue the CR1, it will take you about a month to get through the NVC. Then they will set up the interview. I would guess that you could get an interview In November. Because, you should be done with the NVC mid to end September. Then the beginning of October they will schedule interviews for November.

The only reason for also fpllowing the K3 now, is to get the interview faster. But I don't think that you want that. Also, with the CR1, you can call the NVC and ask them about the possibility of getting it changed to a different embassy.

Ok, Just ignore the K3. Look at Lottos shortcuts for th eCR1. When it gets to the NVC, you can call the NVC to get the NVC case number. Also you can get the IIN number by talking to the operator, but I would suggest that you call at night, they seem to be more friendly and willing to give you the number.
