Since its only March 2009, how do we put the current annual income for 2009 since the year is not yet over.

Regarding my co sponsor(dad in law). He is a seaman and just got home from the ship last month of February. How can we put his current annual income in 1864A if there's no exact date for him when to be back again to the ship.

Can someone help me about this matter?

THanks!

It depends. The word "current" is pretty clear. As a general rule if income is stable, use last year's total income for hourly folks and the self-employed. For the salaried, it's oke to do that or if you just got a raise, put in your "current" annual salary. There's really no one size fits all solution.

what about my co sponsor? he just got home from the ship last month..working as a chef.. At this time, he is waiting for the next ride again.

I wear eyeglasses but had my photos done without. The photographer had difficulty taking one without glare with the glasses on. More importantly I seem to collect eyeglasses like shoes rofl.gif rofl.gif Who knows what pair I will decide to wear to the interview! I think it's best to take the photos without, which is what I did.

His_Wifey. They can be picky about the size, 2x 2 is the best bet. Good luck!

i might wear contacts but still thinking - the consule might ask me if i am the beneficiary. lol

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresAOS Docs - Tax Transcript, W2, 1040, 1099?
I have a question regarding the TAX stuffs... I'm being pissed off so please help me to clear my head....

My husband told me that when he called the TAX TRANSCRIPT (Call the IRS to get it FREE! 1 (800) 829-1040),

He asked about a copy of Tax Transcript. The lady was snotty and she told my husband that he cannot get the 2008 until June..
IS THIS TRUE? I wanna know if this is true or not.. I'm not in America so i really don't know this stuffs.

Second question.

What is exactly W2 and 1040 and 1099 and what tax documents should we need to submit for the AOS?

My husband has only Tax Transcript from 2006 and 2007.

Can we submit only W2 and 1040 together with pay stabs for the past 6 months and employment letter??

Please i need a precise answer.......... thanks!

i dont think you can submit the W-2 on its own jiskat.... a tax return have to be endorsed as well...

so it means, we have to submit the TAX TRANSCRIPTS and W-7? I thought W7 for 2006 - 2008 is enough?

All Filipino citizen that will be going abroad should take CFO. CFO is just a one hour seminar and after you take the seminar, they are going to interview you just for 5 to 7 minutes about you and your husband. That's it!

If you have the visa with you, you have to go back again to their office because they are going to stamp something in your passport. It has no expiration date...... You will only get another CFO if your husband/wife passed away and you get married again..

Eric, ur wife shud have a passport with her MARRIED NAME.. the consul will be checking her passport and of course since she is married - all her documents should be in married name..

I told her about it.. She can go to an agency and it will take for 10 days OR if she wants, she can go directly to DFA here in Manila and after 3 days, she can get a new passport (with MARRIED NAME).

That is wrong that a woman has to take husband's last name. It should be your choice. All my papers were done in my Maiden name and I am still carrying my maiden name.

Why I didn't change-- because I like my name as it is, and my husband didn't care if I take his last name or not. Name wasn't a problem at all.

Now if Philippines have some kind of rule that a wife HAS TO take the last name of her husband, then may be you should do it.

In Philipines - our passport should be changed since we are married - we should have a married name on it...

Hello everyone,
I just want to post my AOS package in here in the order I have it now before my wife and I sent our papers to NVC. Kindly check it and see if the order is in the right condition and if there is anything else we need then please give us a shout out and let us know please. We would totally appreciated it. Here it is:

  • Document Cover Sheet with barcode
  • Our personal cover page showing the order of the AOS Package
  • Completed and signed 1864
  • Petitioners letter of employment
  • petitions photocopied paystubs from 11/06/08 to 4/02/09
  • basically more printouts like paystubs that I had my payroll manager at work print out for me ( I don't know if I should all this for neatness or if I really even need to send it)
  • petitioners 2006 W2 and 1040
  • petitioners 2007 W2 and 1040
  • petitioners 2008 W2 and 1040

  • I864A completed and signed
  • joint sponsors employment letter
  • joint sponsors 2006 W2 and 1040
  • joint sponsors 2007 W2 and 1040
  • joint sponsors 2008 W2 and 1040
And that is it! I hope that we got this packet correct and if anyone wants to throw any hint or help then please. Like everyone else we are trying to avoid an RFE.

IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & ProceduresCo sponsor's 1040
Hello,
I just am going to ask this a little more clearer because now I understand a little bit more. Ok, my dad is the co sponsor with me to get my wife. On the I864A form he is going to post his individual income and also post how much he made from recent 2008, 2007, and 2006. My dad was not clear with me on his 1040 and I looked and it said that he filed jointly with my mother on there taxes. My dad put his individual income as the combinding income from the 1040 on his I864A. Is this still ok to use or would they request an RFE for my mother since she is listed on the 1040 with my father. Or do I need to take my mother's income and deduct that from the combinding income on 1040 to use on my dad's I864A? Please help me. I appreciate it. I got my packet all together and Im just looking through it before anything gets sent.
