I am asking a questions concerning my father's tax info on our AOS package. He filed jointly with my mother as married on their taxes. Are they going to request for RFE for my mother to fill up any forms since her name is on the tax info? My dad is the sponsor for me to get my wife here. I just don't want to have any delays. Is it ok just to send my dad's tax return info and his W2's or do they also want his tax transcripts as well? Also, will from Nov-the end of March paystubs be enough for the paystub in the the AOS package? I appreciate all your help and God bless!

I received an email regarding my IV BILL FEE.. We paid this already 3 days ago and the status is paid..

Do i need to send the DS230 forms with my documents to NVC? Or shall we need to wait for them to mail the hardcopy of DS230 and Cover Sheet?

it depends on the country of the beneficiary.. but since we are CR1 - the NVC or USEM will be the one who will assign the interview date not us..

*DS230 Form Part I (with signed) and Part II (not signed)
*Colored photocopy of Valid Passport Biographic Data Page
*Original Birth Certificate and a photocopy
*Original Marriage Contract and a photocopy
*Original Police clearance and a photocopy
*Original NBI Clearance and a photocopy (is this included?)
*4 pcs Passport size photo (with my name and NVC case # at the back)

Do i need to include my husband's certified birth certificate as it states in the website

As i observed, once the papers is complete at NVC - the Embassy will assigned an interview date to the beneficiary after a month. I just observed it from the couples here as i look at their timeline.. If our papers will be completed this month of April - our interview will be on June. Thats what i observed......

This is gonna be a FRUSTRATING process! I don't mind the waiting. I know this is all going to take as long as it takes, but I really hate getting the run-around from people, and I also can't stand poor phone etiquette.


Our papers got approved last March 5, 2009 and we got our case number after 2 weeks..
You just have to wait again or if you want - you can just simply listen to the AVR first and the AVR will be giving you your case number. That's what happen to me.

Hunging up the phone is rude.. I am a customer representative of UK but we are not allowed to do that. That's terrible!! Sorry to hear that

Just today, my husband received a snail mail about DS3032 Form and AOS Bill.

I already send the DS3032 form yesterday using the Fedex - what i did i printed out the form in my email, i fill it up and send it. So we just have to ignore the snail mail that my husband received today?

my husband called 10 hrs ago to NVC and the operator told him that they received our AOS payment but as i check the website - its still IN PROCESS.


By the way this is just a random question - as I process the payment for AOS Bill, I choose the PETITIONER instead of PRINCIPAL APPLICANT.

Whats the difference between this two? I got an email from them saying:

The U.S. Department of State's online Immigrant Visa Invoice Payment Center has been utilized to pay the fees associated with the immigrant visa application of PRINCIPAL APPLICANT NAME NOT FOUND. Your copy of the receipt is attached to this email in a PDF file.

Do i need to worry about this?

Hi Jiskat08, our approval hard copy was also received on the 12th March, just like yours. How did you get the NVC number? My husband have been waiting now for 2 weeks with no word, please advice what you did. We dont even know if NVC has received the case and dont know who to ask. Many thanks.


all i did is, i called up the NVC - i didnt expect that our case number is already there.. i didnt talk to the operator.. i just entered our USCIS number and i heard the AVR is giving out our NVC number.. i am now worried about my second name ANN which should be ANNE... I called the NVC and i told them to correct it - the operator said that i need to submit a proof that my correct name is ANNE...... GGRRR!! So i have to submit a copy of my passport grrrrr.!!!! It is their fault not mine! mad.gif

I just received an email from NVC regarding the (AOS FEE LTR ONLINE ONLY).. I noticed that my name ANN is not correct. It should be ANNE.

How can i inform the NVC about this? And regarding the DS3032 form, i will print this out and signed it and send it immediately. But regarding the email, is it ok if i will use the DS3032 Form even there's no barcode in it? I was trying to edit it but its not working...

My question for number 23 in 1864 form is: CURRENT ANNUAL INCOME?

Since its only March 2009 do i need to multiply the income of my husband by 12 months for this year 2009?

For example:

For 2009: $2,500 X 12 months = $30,000.

Is this the amount that my husband needs to put at Number 23 of 1864 FORM?

Current Annual Income: IS THIS 2009 OR 2008? How about my co sponsor which is a seaman, he just got home from the ship last month of February. We have no exact date when he will be going back. How's that? How to put the annual income for 2009 then?

not yet.. my husband needs to get a call card since it will be expensive to call NVC knowing its just an AVR.. i will buy a lot of cards to here in Philippines to call NVC as well... They say, the best time to call is 7am to 10am EST..

I've just been trying the AVR since Wednesday when I got the letter. I never got an e-mail, even though I'm signed up for them, and the status date still reads January!!!! on USCIS.gov
