We also both got our last three years tax transcripts, 1040's, W2's, 2009 Employment letter, last 6 months paystubs for me and last 4 months for my dad's paystubs. We also got the barcode cover sheet along with our own made cover page of the listed documents. We also neatly stapled them and use few paper clips making out packet a clean organized package. We also put on ever page to the right of never page our case number. However, I got one small question about a question about my dad's I864A. On his Employment letter is states that he is a Chief Cook but on all three of his 1040's it states he is a Merchant Marine. What occupation should I use so that I don't recieve an RFE? Dear Lord, I come unto you as your servant to bless all those who are out there seeking answers as well. Lord, I pray also for all the married couples who are hurting and feeling hopeless. My co sponsor's information income is not tally or balance from his Tax Transcripts to his W2 and 1040.. For example his income for 2008 is $40,000 according to W2 but in his tax transcript its like $39,000.. What is the real score? What should we put in the 1864 Current Annual Income? the information from TAX TRANSCRIPT or from the W2 or 1040 Please help us. We dont want an RFE for this.... You may exclude any unmarried children under 21, if these children have reached majority under the law of their place of domicile and you do not claim them as dependents on your income tax returns. Do we really need to include his 2 kids??? IM CONFUSE so much... We already submitted the AOS docs last night.. my husband didn't even got any single tax refund from his 2 kids... IR-1 / CR-1 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Editing the 1864 form when its already at the NVC	I called the NVC to clarify since i'm really wondering if we need to put the 2 kids of my husband which he didn't claim in his tax. The reason why we have a co sponsor is because of his 2 kids which his income didn't meet the requirements in poverty line.. I asked the operator if we really need to put the 2 kids in the 1864 form but she said, Let me read the Instruction here, just for a moment... while waiting for a few seconds, she said - you can exclude the 2 kids of your husband since he didn't claim them in his tax.. Meaning, we don't need a co sponsor since I should be the only one that my husband needs to support... I said, oh my GOD we already submitted the AOS documents last night. What should we need to do now? We have to edit it and remove his 2 kids in the form 1864??? She said, you can send a new 1864 form with written explanation that you did some mistake... After the call... I told my husband about it and i ask him if he can call the NVC again for a second opinion just to make sure that all the operators are the same with their answers.... My husband called the NVC and its the same answer that he received.... Now, will it be an issue with the US Embassy if we will send a modified and edited 1864 form again? Coz honestly, im not sure if my husband and my co sponsor is enough for them to support me. My husband earned only $22,000 and his dad is $35,000 for this year 2009.. Is this enough? I sent in the I-864 to NVC, and then sent in the DS-230 a week later. The NVC AVR gave me the same recording that you got for about a week. Apparently, after the I-864 is reviewed and there is no DS-230 in the system yet, the NVC considers the DS-230 to be "missing" and generates a "false" RFE. Give the NVC a few days to "catch up" and you should be fine. -sjb! We first submitted the DS230.. then after 5 days we submitted the AOS documents.. I called again (5th time) and the lady who is so nice told me that everything is fine.. I told her the situation ad she said, oh maybe thats why yo received a letter like that because we just received your AOS.
