Flames have you ordered your pizza yet?

Anyway, dinner is almost ready, just have to make the spaghettini (I always use that instead of spaghetti). I fried the chicken and added yellow and green pepper, garlic and onions and spaghetti sauce.

Yes, pizza is ordered!! They used to have a deal $9.99 for a large, unlimited toppings, but it is no longer in effect!! I got a coupon for a large unlimited toppings for $12.99, BUT the code on the coupon would not work online!! So I had to call and talk to a damn human!! Robert was nice and all, but I really don't want to talk to a human, lol BUT I can still track my pizza, by going to domino's website and plugging in my phone #!! So I sit and wait!!

I think it is far superior to the George Foreman models! They just dont feel like they are well made. I'm glad I purchased it and would recommend it! As well it does get a bit smoky, but no different that any other indoor grill. And after all my rebates, was just slightly more than the Foreman Grill!
Flames9_RNMaleCanada2008-02-21 19:29:00
CanadaWhat's For Dinner?
My previous indoor grill (a George foreman thingy, but it was better) broke awhile back so I purchased a Breville "Indoor BBQ" http://www.brevilleu...x...=11&pvID=11
I must admit it cooks extremely fast and it is a well built unit!! I bought it at Bed Bath & Beyond, so it was on sale, Plus I had 20% Rebate card AND they had a $30 mail in rebate! So was a very good deal!! Only downside is that the grill is hard to clean!! Yes the top/bottom do easily snap out, and they can be put in dishwasher , but since the indentations of the grill are soo close, doesn't always come out clean, and a bit hard to hand wash.As wel lit has no timer, but thats minor, as I just use the one on the oven or microwave! But as stated earlier, cooks extremely quick and well made!

So, I'm making pork chops on the grill, and wil microwave a potato!! Better half doesn't return till next Friday, so just have to worry about myself!! lol

Oh, ya, I did brown the roast first!! carrots were the smal ones in the pkg, so just emptied into slow cooker, lol Was a tense 5 minute prep job I tell ya!!

I dislike Pizza hut, too greasy!! Prefer Dominos, and now Dominos has pizza tracker!! U can track ur pizza being made! Even states the names of people doing the job,lol They say its accurate within a few minutes!

CanadaSelling your home in a tough market and quickly after you bought it...
I have read online that a "short sale" can take awhile to complete so a buyer may not be interested in that.

As well with relator's--which I'm not a huge fan of,lol 1 should interview at least 2 or 3! Some are better buyer agents than sellers!

I used a company in Victoria that was awesome! Paid a flat fee of $700 to them and 3% to the buyers agent! If I, or they found a buyer, I only paid the $700!! Of course it was a sellers market then, and I had multiple offers within hours! Saved a lot of $$$$ I think in present times, with all the resources, there isnt a huge need for a Realtor, but people are stuck with tradition! And yes I know a bunch of realtor's will read this and get al upset, sorry, lol! I truly hate the buying/selling process--everything has to be such a secret, don't want to loose the deal! I would prefer to sit one on one and go over everything about the property! Oh well, thats just me! lol

Most likely hand the bank a check with the difference. Or what many have done, just dont pay and walk away! Of course ur credit is screwed and one has to have no morals, lol

CanadaSelling your home in a tough market and quickly after you bought it...
Thats what we plan on doing to our condo--renting it out later this year! Figure it will be a good learning experience as well. Were not moving that far away--about 45 minutes, and our brother in law owns a condo here as well, so he is only steps away, plus were close to our neighbors, so a good eye will be kept out for it.

We have done a bit of research and have a good idea on what it can be rented out for. As well some say to put a ad on Craigslist and see how many bites ya get. Of course one has to be careful with CL!!

We were told by 1 bank, that if your looking to buy a house while renting out your other home, they know what proof that it has been rented out. In the past, they were not soo picky, but thanks to the mortgage mess, they seem to be a bit more picky.

Don't think its that hard of a process to do, no matter what ya do, if ya get bad renters, it can turn into a nightmare! In-laws years ago bought a place in Newport RI just to rent out, and it got trashed! And it had a company looking out over it, so didnt much help! Didnt bother to sue, as lawyers are not cheap, lol might as well put the $$ in the house, rather to the lawyers!.

Got to do what makes a happy--well for the most part at least

Canadato get married at a court house?
Took us all of minutes!! Went and got the marriage license at the courthouse, then walked over to the JP (Justice of the peace) office which was in the next building, she did her thing and that was that! Believe we used GOOGLE to find the JP, or the courthouse clerk told us one when we called them for information

Lot of Toyotys and honda are made in the USA/Canada!! So thats not entirely true! GMC/Ford/Dodge were paying their workers a lot more $$$$ than honda and toyota. I read that added round $2500 per vehicle! And if they made a good vehicle in the first place, wouldnt have this problem! We have a 98 Camry that was my wifes car when we arrived and it still drives as new and we just do basic maintenance to it! never had 1 problem with it!

No, it doesn't take away from my excitement at all - because I don't find it exciting laughing.gif

I'm not really a 'car person' - I like a reliable vehicle - that's about it. Although I do get attached to vehicles - and i'm quite sad selling the ford laughing.gif

I love a new vehicle, lol the test drives etc etc--not so much the dickering of the price!! that to can be fun, but have to be in the right mood

true!!! lol Not to belittle or take away the joy from Trailmix and her new vehicle, always exciting times! I just feelthe finish and reliabilty of Toyota/honda are superior! And maybe in a few yrs Ford/GMC/Dodge acn catch up! Dodge begin bought by Fiat is exciting news!!

Friends had a durango back in Victoria. They said it was on ok vehickle, but very bad on gas! S

normal for a dodge.

Well he went and drove that one around a bit, seems like a pretty good vehicle - he said it isn't as wide as he thought it would be - oh and the check engine light was on - the guy said it was the 02 sensor - which they would fix.

Anyway, he is now off to look at the jeep.

So he went to look at the jeep and it seems quite nice, he is definately leaning towards buying it. He is just going to talk to the guy and get a carfax report.

One shoul dtake alook at consumer reports used car book and see how they rate the Jeeps. Or look at edmunds.com! Sorry, I'm just not a big believer in Anything made by dodge (jeep) GMC or Ford, lol
