So I'm not even worrying really about the NOA2. I mean it would be nice to have, but its not a have to have for us. We're pretty lucky though, we visit eachother at least every 4-5 weeks. Lately I've just been enjoying Toronto, seeing my friends and family a lot and just working hard to save save save for the big move. It will come soon enough for all of us!! Panterchen - I know it seems like you've been waiting so long, longer than others but there are lots of people who waited over 150 days, and you are very close to that mark, but not quite there yet. You will probably see an approval any day now! Hang in there... the last couple of weeks are horrile, but it's bound to happen. I send back my Packet 3 checklist last night... and now we wait... should be another 2-3 months until we get an interview. I called the NVC and they received our petition and said it was forwarded to the Consulate and gave me our new receipt number. I forgot to ask what day it left, but it's gone and probably arrived. Yes they do BUT and this is a big BUT, they tend to go a bit out of order because they are all put into bins/boxes and then assigned to different adjudicators. So, some adjudicators are faster than others and finish their boxes faster or sometimes our sometimes some files just take longer (more name searches etc.) so if you happen to be behind a slow file in a bin, then you slow down a bit as well. For the most part everything kind of evens out eventually... but there is often a difference of a couple weeks foor NOA2s for similar NOA1 dates. Hopefully that makes sense.
