Hey MsTee...well me and hubby dont have too much planned. We will be in NYC for christmas, then we are trying to go to ATL in January and we will be filing AOS at the end of January and then we are going to Nashville in February for my stepfather's 70th B'day.

Wht did my kids ffather jsut call and aske could he take our kids out of school for 6 days in march becasue of some voucher.... for a florida vacations that cant be used in april (during spring break wich i agreed too) i said no and then why was the firlst thing out of his mouth if you wanted to go to jamaica you would take them out of school... i was mad ...my kids have never been taken out off school for a vaction ..my parent have taken them several time on vacation and it always was during school vacations.... this just made me so mad...

My kids father is afraid of me and my mouth so they dont mess with me... devil.gif Last year my ex husband, his wife, his other dauther & his wife son were going on a cruise in august. I called him to make plans for her to spend summer with him after we came back from our Florida vacation. Thats when he told me about his plans. Well I asked him what about my child???? He said to me "There is no room for her" Well all hell broke loose. I cuss out his nasty rass, his wife rass and his whole damn family. I told him my child is some body and she is 2nd to no one and if he can take care of his wife son then he better tek care of his own. I slam down the phone on him. He called me back on Mothers day to say happy mothers day and I told him to F. U. C. K. off and dont call back mi bumbaclatt phone unless its to tell me my child was included in his"family cruise". I could here is wife because he had me on speaker phone. She was running off her mouth about him explaing to me that the cabin only holds 4 people and it would cost them more to take my child. Ya'll know I was in my mad zone by then. I told him & her that they should have think about that before they made their plans. Mi slam down mi phone. 10 min. later he call back saying he just bought her ticket. It was at the end of august 2008 and school had already started but I let her miss the first 4 days.

That was the last time he showed his #### with me.

Last weekend I took Garfield to his first Party/Dance in MD then This weekend is my girlfriends baby shower (its more like a dance) it starts @ 5pm and ends at midnight or 1am. It will be a lot of fun. Then we go to NYC for christmas & New Years eve we are going to a Black Tie Affair/Ball. He is really enjoying all the activites...

Well, at this point, I am going to the firehouse on Christmas Eve. Christmas Day is my mom's and then we are going to see Sherlock Holmes in the afternoon. I think I will be going to another house later in the evening. Not sure, though. Know I'm not going to Indiana as of right now.

I finished making the last of my Christmas presents last night. Wrapped them.


Well I know you will be having a good time. Thank god my christmas list is short this year....

Yesterday was birthday lunch here and after we wraped up the presents we had collected for our adopted family. 15 trash bags full of wrapped boxes plus gift cards. It was very emotional to see them all sitting under the tree. I can't wait to deliver them to my church tomorrow.

It's a family of 6 and the little boy has leukemia. Last year we had this same family.

I started my commute, so I have been burning up the interstate. Thank God my college courses are almost over for the year. It is hard to read 40 + pages when all you want to do is sleep.

Quick update: Things are going good. Eric and I are learning how to share our personal space. It is very hard for me, but I know it can be done. He got to witness one of my nightmares, I think it scared him. But he was holding me. Loved that. My dog likes him. I think my dog (Tank) is jealous. Every time Eric and I kiss the dog tries to get in the middle.



Mama I would be sick of driving if I had your commute but be careful with it. Tank will get use to sharing you soon...lol

As you may know, VJ had a brief downtime today. This was caused by a temporary file drive getting full (imagine your hard drive on your computer getting full)! Long story short, the effect was that VisaJourney was not totally offline but the forums were. We have a service that checks the server and alerts me if it is down but in this case it did not due to the unique circumstances. I am taking measures to make sure this does not happen again. Regardless,

Here is an update on my Dad. I just wanted to thank all of you for keeping him in your prayers.

On Monday the 14th they are going to do a proceedure.
They are going to put in a shunt to bypass the liver so the blood that goes trough the liver doesn't pool and which causes bleeding. Hypertension of the liver is what is causing the bleeding.
The bleeding is under control right now through medication through IV's.But, the bleeding has not stopped.

He is not in any pain and his spirits are good.
He is his same old self by teasing the people that are caring for him.

His blood pressure is up and down and depends on how much blood he has lost. He has had 5 pints of blood so far. Before they do the procedure on him Monday they are going to give him some plateletts.

This shunt is only a bandaid solution to the bigger problem.

By no means is this going to cure him it is just to help the situation at this time.

I am feeling a little down today. Friday my 2 year old niece was rushed to the emergency room because she fell and had a gash in her hand. She wouldn't let the doctors touch her so they had to put her out. They had a hard to reviving her and her pressure kept dropping. My sister had to grab and pull her ear real hard and my dad tickled her feet. She is doing better now, but the stress of it did me in. Im leaving work around noon so I can try to get some sleep. I had calls for the JA lottery scam in the summer time when DJ was in the hospital - I had several missed calls in a row from an unknown #, then a JA # - I called back bc I thought it was related to him being in the hospital, or using someone's phone to call me - The guy tried to convince me that he wasn't calling from a JA # - that it was a computer routed one and that's why it came up with that area code - I told him I knew he was calling me on a Digicel - then he asked me if I was ready to complete the transaction so that I could get my winnings - I told him that I would have my husband, a cop in Kingston, call him back because he would come pick up my winnings in person, no bank account needed - he hung up immediately and I haven't had a call since -

Drexel decided to string the men along a little, have a little fun, after the Mount Airy resident had called the police, of course. The men called five or six times over the course of days, desperate, it seemed, to land a fish. Drexel called me a couple of times recently to let me know how things were going.

In the middle of it all, I asked how long he'd be yanking them along.

"I don't know, I'm having fun now," Drexel said. "I'm wondering how much their phone bill is running up."

The callers had heavy accents, he said. The 876 area code the men called from is Jamaican.

When I spoke to him Tuesday, Drexel said a police officer finally called the men, and when he identified himself, the man hung up. So what did they do next? Go dark? Dump their pre-paid cell phones and disappear?

No. They called Drexel's son back, trying to convince him they weren't trying to pull off a fraud. Then they changed their story; they weren't the Maryland Lottery, but a national lottery. Not that the U.S. has a national lottery.

Not too bright. When the younger Drexel pointed that out, the con man hung up. For good this time.

This is a version of the "advance-fee" scam, in which the scammers try to get money sent by Western Union, which is fast and irreversible. Normally the criminals will say an advance is necessary to pay tax on winnings before they can be released (something they in fact told Drexel).

Drexel told me his offer of a postal money order was turned down -- the fraudsters asked for nothing that had anything to do with the U.S. government. They insisted on Western Union.

And $150 is on the low end of what con artists tend to ask for in this kind of scam. More often it's in the thousands.

"They probably would have strung us out for more if they'd got that," Drexel said.

What is worrying is that Drexel, whose cell phone plan is under his wife's name, has no idea how the younger Drexel's phone number became available to the scammers. Drexel's son hasn't posted it anywhere online.

Legitimate lottery organizations will never ask for money upfront, so there's your second clue (the first being the suspicious addresses). One of the "protect yourself from fraud" tips on the Western Union website states: Never send money to pay for taxes or fees on foreign lottery winnings — doubly so if you never entered a lottery to begin with.

They also have one excellent piece of advice when it comes to scams of all types: If it sounds too good to be true, it probably is.



MsTee girl I got a call from JA the same week that G was coming and they told me that they were the FBI and they say that I sent $$$ to a Ricardo Smith (G's friend that I did send $$$ to because G was at work and could not pick it up) and they want to know why and that they are going to come arrest me if I dont send in the amount of $$$ that sent to Mr. Smith. I called G and he said that when Ricky gave him the receipt it drop out of his pocket in a cab. When I was finish with them on the phone they were sorry they every called me. Dem stincking dutty P u s s y hole dont know seh mi nah stupid.

Dens I was so mad because they kept calling my cell at work. Everytime I hung up they called back. Then the fool tell me that I cant hang u on the FBI so I said ok may I please have you Badge #, Your Supervisor # and your office location and I will contact them. He started stuttering like a fool. I ask him since when FBI call people to tell them tey are coming to arrest them. I asked him is cow was his Madda cause no human could have pushed him out he must have drop out a cow batti. Girl I went out of the building to cuss...oooohhhh Im still mad just thinking about it
