K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	other options if he is in the army?	Hi out there, I just got a link to this fantastic site. It is great to have all the information on one site. My husband and I tried to get information so hard but it seemed like everybody tells a different story :s. However. I am German and I just got married to my husband last week in Germany. One day after the marriage he had to leave to get to his new base in Maryland. That was great . Well so it is not that long, but I already miss him so terribly. I intend to join him over there but there are so many problems. First of all a soldier's wife told me she also got married in Germany and it would be possible that he get his PCS orders amended and add me. So I could join him within a few weeks. But I really dont know if she is right. I keep in contact with my husband's 1SGT. She told me that it might be possible as well, but I have no idea if I just need the passport and his amended orders. This soldiers wife told me that I may apply for my visa in Maryland as soon as I get there. Today I got a new email from the 1SGT and she told me I will need a visa and I may apply. So what? At all Im just confused because many things didnt work out like we thought they would. It is frustrating to stuck in Germany and not be able to do anything. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	CR1 or/and K3	Hi:) I just have a question. I heard the CR1 is the immigration visa and the K3 nonimmigration. Is that right? Once you have the CR1 you are allowed to stay in the US for 2 years and get the Adjust of state (or something like that)....so what sense makes the K3 visa? If I wanna stay with my husband over there ...do I need both or just one? How long does it take to receive eighter K3 or CR1? He is gonna apply for me in Maryland, any experiences about that area? K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	tax return transcript????	I never filled out any forms. I just called the IRS and requested my tax transcripts. I spoke to a real person and i had them in a few weeks. It was NOT hard at all. No form, nothing to mail - just a phone call. I got my past three years, and in my interview (for a CR-1 ) only needed one of them...THey are FREE, however, so I'd get the last three years just to be safe. huuu cool thanks for this advice. Now we are getting confused on the affidavit of support thing :s. We downloaded the form 4506-t in order to request a transcript for tax return. K3 and processing dates	Hey there, Vermont is already processing the date 19th of March we received our NAO1 for I 129F on March 16th so does that mean that we should get our approval soon??? Another question if I enter the US on the K3 visa...why do I still have to have the I130? Do I need to immigrate in order to live and work in America? What is the actual sense of that? I mean if I can avoid all the expenses to fly back to my home country why would I want to get the CR1? Cant I just become a permanent resident with the K3 when I do the Adjustment of status??? K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	NOA1- is it normal to take all this time?	hello everybody we sent our I-130 package (K-3) to Texas on the 17th of april. we got the UPS delivery confirmation but not yet the NOA1 letter we start to worry. How long "normally" does it take to get the NOA1 letter?? By the way, people usually use the term of "touched"... i did a research to understand what this word mean... can anybody give me a short explanation, plz? thank you for your answer Hey hon, dont worry so much. It's on the uscis site, what it means is that you get married then go back home submit the i-130 then the 129f which will get you the K- 3 non-immigrant visa then once that is approved and the interview you can move and adujust status in the usa. Basically it's just to get there faster then the cr-1 / ir-1. You still have to wait till the k-3 goes through. I am doing it and I am at month 5 and still waiting just received packet three that says another 2-4 months. Well that is exactly what im doing but no matter what I still have to wait for the approval of the K3 and the interview....so if it is really faster I doubt it. I havent seen my husband in 3 weeks now.....I was lucky that I got to see him in the US for 3 months on A visawaiver. And still we are suffering from being apart. Be apart from the one we love is a hard challenge, but just give up since you already started and all that??? Comeone. Thoughts occur sometimes....but it is important to stay strong no matter how hard it is. Since we are in that forum and see so many different cases it helps alot too. When I hear people have been apart for more than 2 years it makes me feel totally stupid. I have been so lucky to see him in the meantime and Im so sad sometimes. But anyway I think if you really wanna be with your guy and love him dont give up...go ahead. It will be over. It is not a neverending journey:). We have to wait for me to fly back to the US as well, even if the petition gets approved in the meantime. We cant afford the plane ticket. All these visa expenses are incredible. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	question K3 processing times	The timeline as posted by frank_cuenca will give you an approx. and on checking Embassy Info in the tab at the top of the page, the wait time for interview is only 1 month from when the consulate recieves the petition....so on that analysis 4-5 months providing one is not held up with security checks. What one has to remember now is that with the IMBRA this is going to make things a little longer, especially right now as to my knowledge no petitions that were filed 6 March and after are moving. Hence why the processing date listed is at 5 March. As with the processing of I-129F petitions for fiance, the I-129F spousal also comes under IMBRA. Hang tight as hopefully it wont be too long before they get their azzes into gear. All the best. Lorelle urgggg IMBRA is affecting I129f spousal now as well?? I was in another forum with so-called experts for the USA and they told me that the current time is about 6 up to 12n months for Germany. Well I think that is freaking stupid, cos Im just 11 days away from the processing dates and Im just waiting for 2 months. So did I miss something or am I totally mistaken??? Wait at least a couple months. I got mine done in may when my petition was pending 3 months already....so it is valid till october. Honestly I would wait for the NOA2 and then go to the medical. K-3 Spouse Visa Process & Procedures	Questions.....Yodrak, aussie, anyone????	I've been reading the posts here but its the first time i'm posting. NVC has my I130 approved petition since March of this year; however, the status with USCIS still shows as pending. I spoke to USCIS about this several times including info pass appointment but no hope so far....should i continue doing what NVC asks from me? or is NO2 really needed at the interview? Im at the stage of sending the IV bill. I have also filed I129f for k3. NVC today told me the petition will be sent out the consulate this week. They have assigned a case number already. Does this type of visa require I134 or I864? I was employed overseas during the entire 2005. I did file my taxes & the income was above the poverty level but the entire income was tax exempt as it was foreign earned income leaving "0" on line 22 of 1040. IRS form 2555EZ is attached with my 1040 that shows the income as foreign earned & tax exempt. I have recently joined another firm in the U.S and the present income far exceeds the poverty level. Do i need a joint sponsor? Do i really have to submit copies of my tax return in case k3 kicks in before the CR1? instructions for I134 require tax returns in case of self-employment, as far as i could figure out. I can get a letter from my HR showing my current position, salary etc. along with copies of pay stubs. I have recently moved, i've changed my address with USCIS & NVC, is a new G325 needed? I mean some people know each other for years, some weeks or months....and get married. So i dont think that the time is important. Hm....weird but anyway, I forgot about that fact....but since K3 petitioners didnt have to tell them how they met what a difference makes it now to ask how they met...that is confusing. I dont see the bottomline of that. Ah and true RFE would be good regarding to fiancee petitions that have still been filed with the old petition...so pretty much all of em.
