I'm hoping that it's approved in the next day or two - I was told when I called CIS today that the I-129F was still pending, not closed ... As of now I'm just waiting for the I-129F -- because looking at the processing times it seems like it still saves a lot of time as compared to waiting for the I-130 to be processed at the NVC by itself for "the full permanent resident" thing ... US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	alone in the room?	how many are they with you during the naked medical check and with the spreading of legs? just curious... based on some of my friend's experience. It is really not thta naked. YOu will have to wear a clinic's gown. It is like a visit to your gynecologist and will only take some minutes that is why those girls who wants to have their medical exams be sure not to have a period that day. Just be comfortable. I heard that St. LUkes gynecologist are all female. woohoo..i thought i'm gonna walk all over the clinic room without anything on me ...that's a relief..i'd never been to a gynecologist or OB..so this would probably my first time getting naked infront of other people ....but of course experienced naked infront of my hubby sorry trying to be comfortable with thiis medical thingy... US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	MEDICAL EXAM	Hello arch and cel, I will have my medical exam next week. I will go on the schedule given by USE. I want to ask if they will postponed/rescheduled the ME if there's a monthly period. I advice you to go there w/o ur mothly period bec in physical exam u must take off all ur clothes including your underwear and lying on bed open ur 2 legs infront of the doctor. The doctor take a look on your private and ask u to open ur ####### ewwwww!!! can u imagine that? Since the procedure was so uncomfortable..may i know how long the doctor stays infront of your 2 open legs? is there an incident that a male doctor check the female patient? I'll be not at ease if that happens..and if so is it too much to ask for a female doctor to check me? a reply will be appreciated. thanks! when i had the exam in 2004, all females had female doctors. and the vaginal and ####### exam didn't take too long....less than a minute for these two. you go behind a curtain, take everything off, then lay down and the doctor presses on your tummy, looks for scars on your wrists (suicide attempts), and then asks you to spread the legs, then turn over and spread your butt cheeks. then it was all done. so how many are they with you in the room during the naked check? a bit just curious.....	louiejane2903	Female	Philippines	2007-01-07 01:10:00

US Embassy and Consulate Discussion	i need help...	i need opinions regarding my problem: here---> MY mom's full name is Maria Theresa, i just found out that in my Birth certificate, her name was written just "Maria"..and on my Marriage certificate it is "Theresa" and to be sure what's written on her BC, i checked it and its "MARIA THERESA". I am wondering if this would be a big problem for my case completion? I am on my 2ndeek waiting of 4 weeks completion time frame. And when i filled up my DS-230 and G-325a forms, i have written "Theresa". I am thinking to prepare an affidavit from my attorney to tell them it's one person and besides i am the one whose going out of the country and not her. Am i am going to have an RFE for this ? We called NVC last wednesday and they said..they sent the mail last March 14, 2007 .
