K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresSending aditional supporting documents before RFE
If I were in your situation, I would wait for the RFE to come. If you don't there is a chance the documents you send will never reach their intended location. I guess you could go ahead and send them now and just have additional copies ready to send just in case you get a RFE anyway.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresI'm so angry I just want to fight!!!
I can definitely understand everyones frustration. It is hard while you watch others get approved before you that applied after you. I did this for nearly six months, and it was very hard. I finally just decided that it was not my time to be approved yet, and all I could do was wait. My case was under security checks, and there was nothing I could do but email them, contact my congresswoman, and wait. I know one thing for sure though, all the waiting and frustration is so worth it when you get that email or notice in the mail telling you your case has been approved. It doesn't matter how long you have waited, it is like a big weight has been lifted off of your chest. I have been there, I know how it feels, it sux.....but in the end it is all worth it. I am wishing you all the best of luck on getting your approvals as soon as possible. Good luck to you all.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAnother approval from CSC

Sorry about the skeptics...but this whole process has been trying...Just thinking that 2 years ago the longest time it took was 45days and now we wait 100+
Thanks for being honest and forthcoming :D

2 years ago it took me nearly 6 months to get approved at TSC, this is my second approval for same fiance....

So, did TSC have particular new questions for you to address the second time you petitioned for the same fiance? I may be submitted a second I-129F for my fiance soon, and I'm wondering exactly how best to approach the petition.

Hi Novotul

No, it was done exactly the same as the first one was, I just had to answer the questions about filing a previous petition. I provided copies of all the previous petition documents and a letter stating why we did not follow through with the first one after it was approved. Of course, I filed the second one before the new IMBRA law passed, Now, with the new IMBRA law, I am not quite sure how it will work for filing multiple petitions for same fiance?

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhat is the relevance of speed of approval VS country
It really just depends I think, I have seen people from Canada get caught up in security checks....so you can never tell. Our case was held up in security checks for six months, my fiance is originaly from Pakistan, this may be why or it may not be, who knows?? Good Luck to you on your journey

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresDocuments to prove we can legally marry
I agree with Mew as for the evidence of relationship, my finace and I both signed an Affidavit of Meeting, and a Letter of Intent to Marry and had these notarized. - that was just our choice.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresWhat did I do wrong?

I was on the same exact timeline as Grismar. We went to the same service center. The only difference was where our men are living. Hers in South America and mine in India.

So why am I still waiting while she was approved 1 week ago?

Just sitting here feeling sorry for myself. I feel the boat left the dock and I'm not on it. :crying:

This same thing happened to me as well, I had the same timeline as someone else when I first applied, well, you can't judge it by that, because, I just got my NOA2 this month and forwarded to NVC and the other person has already had their interview and gotten their visa. It is based on many different factors, comparing timelines with others is going to make you crazy, I found that out really quick. The best thing to do is just focus on your own case, keep up with the processing dates, and do whatever you have to to make sure it isn't being overlooked, when the time comes for that. ie. email, call service center, congressman.
I am wishing you the best of luck and a speedy process.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresAbility To Withdraw Applications

You should have no problem doing the whole process in 5 month. Usually Vermont is quite fast and after the new Imbra Law settels down the process will go faster again.

That is if he doesn't get stuck under security checks and such like we did, and we were pre-imbra...took us 6 months to get our NOA2 due to security checks, although we were at CSC....
