K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresQuestions on how to fill out the G-325A form

Hi everyone. I am having some trouble and questions trying to figure out how to correctly fill in the G-325A forms. Basically, it's as follows:

1. On the part where it says "Applicant's Residence For Five Years," should I just list five years of residence? I know this sounds kind of like a nonsense question, but I notice in the G-325A example form, it lists from quite far back to 1975 even.

2. I notice in the MONTH field, I can only input one variable text, like I think it was meant as a numeric value instead of a letter value. I tried typing in something like months like June or July, but it only shows ONE letter. So I guess I can instead just put something like "6" or "7." Did anyone else have this problem?

3. Also, last where it says "Show below last occupation abroad if nost listed above." If I have never had a job abroad, should I just put None? I was thinking if I answered the first part (List all employers), then I can leave this one blank like the example form, but I don't really know. Hmm.. I guess it wouldn't hurt to just put None.

Thanks!

Hi

1. you have to list each residence you lived at for the past 5 years, if the last residence you lived at was within the past 5 years, but you began living there in 1973, then you would have to list it.
2. I think the date format on the G325 is like this dd/mm/yyyy, for example 29-August-2006
3. I would put N/A since this question is Not applicable to you.

Hope this helps
~Stacey

This type of information is fine, I am including it with my documents for my fiance's interview as well. If you have the original boarding passes from the flight that would be good.

It seems they are saying they responded to your previous request and are requesting you wait 30 days to email them again or call, this is a canned response they send to everyone. Nothing to be upset about.

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & Procedurestouches mean nothing

I was approved and never touched!

I;m not happy with this thread.
I never crawl out of my observers hole for controversy. But enough of this.
I know touches mean nothing, but by GOD I keek checking, because there is nothing else. Don't tell me you older VJ'ers never went through this. This board is for support not damning the newbies.
Nuff said.

I'm in no way damning the newbies. I was telling them that touches don't mean anything.

Some newer VJ members are misinforming people as if they can see into USCIS' crystal ball & predict approvals, after a touch, and that's impossible to say.

Sure we check/ed but it doesn't mean I thought i get approved every time I saw one!

Touches obviously do "mean something" it means the USCIS is working on the file, and a "touch" could lead to an approval, no one knows when and if this is going to happen. So, just as the newbies can't predict that an approval is coming, you can't predict that one is not coming. Just let people be happy about their touches, geeezzzz

K-1 Fiance(e) Visa Process & ProceduresNOA1

Ok perhaps this is a dumb question but is there more then one NOA1 that you receive. Looking at some timelines I saw some people with 2 dates for receiving this. I have received the I-797C, Notice of Action. The notice type says receipt notice. Is this all I will get until an RFE(hopefully not) or an NOA2 or will I get a different NOA1? Any knowledge anyone might share would be greatly appreciated. Thank you in advance to all that respond.

I believe you only get one NOA1, then RFE if there is one, and then once RFE is cleared up, NOA2
