They only asked him 1 questions which was how we met. Unfortunately he had to wait 4 hours till actual interview! Plus they pulled the wrong file for him in the beginning but other than that it was easy. I will be able to relax once he actual has the visa in hand Wishing the best for everyone else still left!!! I'm on hold with them right now, for the first time since Wednesday. It's been 8 days now since the NOA2, so here's to hoping. So did you get any news? I just hung up with NVC. The lady said my file was sent to the embassy today!! yay! Which is a little funny as yesterday they told me they hadnt received yet... Extremely helpful! to bad everyone involved in the process wasn't like that! I just found out the clinic that is supposed to be doing my medical lost my application so now I have to reapply.... not a big deal, but still mildly annoying Hmm... that's not promising! I like your avatar lol I know it is still a little early to be calling NVC, but I have found the instructions I had saved. I thought Id share ... so you don't have to dig through this thread or go to the November thread to find them! Call NVC at 603-334-0700 about 5 days after your NOA2, Press 1 for English, Then 5 to be put on hold and wait. They will ask the case number WACXXXXXXXXXX, your name and birthday, fiance(e) name and birthday. Then they will tell you if it is received and if forwarded onto the embassy. If it hasn't been touched yet, I would be concerned at this point. I wish there was something that we as a group could do...stupid CSC... meh... dont feel guilty. it's not the fact that you guys got approved and we didnt that makes me mad, it's that they are now moving on to november if they havent even looked at our files. CSC	Hey Kizza, I looked into immigrating a loved one into Canada from the U.S.... based on my findings it's really only possible to do it after you've been married... I know a guy who's done both Canadian and American immigration and he said that without a doubt it was easier to immigrate to Canada... just so you know.... Yeah... that was my conclusion as well. We'd have to get married before we could file anything. Which is fine. Im already decided on doing a courthouse wedding first and then something nicer that we have time to plan and save more for. Up til recently, it just made more sense for me to move there, since Matt is more established with the house and job etc. But now that the recession is finally catching up with his company over there, taking into account parental leave (when we have kids) and the rather strong economy here in Quebec, it is starting to make good sense to have him come here instead. It would be a new headache... and more wait. Anyway, I know people have waited longer than me, and others are waiting like me, just more quietly... I have talked to someone who filed at the end of August and called USCIS and they told her they havent looked at their file yet... so I imagine it is the same for us, and cortr, and more people... Which is good news since it means it's not something bugging in our file, it's just a matter of time... but who knows how long it will be? Slowly but surely things are moving forward. Now if we can just get Kizza sorted we'll all be in good shape! Nice! Good news! Yup... if they could just go back and check in them old dusty boxes for the cases they skipped... we might be getting somewhere. Starting to get a little discouraged... Fiance has finished his medical yesterday and now all that is left for us is for me to send him copy of I-129F, I-134, and recent evidence. He has his interview on Feb. 16th! Has anyone else gotten interview dates? Any more NOA2's? Nice! Congrats Rosie! I saw Dan & Ali have their interview in about 10 days in Vancouver... purdy cool...
